We will end up having to let Gallup or Coop walk....I don't ever see Gallup being a number 1, so I would prefer to keep Coop.
Did you see it last year? Because when Coop was disappearing Gallup was surely the #1 a few weeks.

Let me say that I'd want to keep Gallup as well.....but I like the ability of having Gallup jump and get footballs too......

Lamb will be our clear No.1 after this season which will make both Cooper and Gallup expendable depending what path we choose to take.

We dont need Gallup to be the number one. Lamb has the ability to be the number one. If lamb is not the player we thought he was then obviously keep Coop but if Lamb is the monster we all think he is then i would rather keep Gallup and free up money to help defense

Lots of guys will be fighting for WR positions. I'm not suggesting doing it, but Gallup probably could bring in some decent trade value if any of these other guys pan out. Outside of Cooper, Gallup and Lamb, these other WR will need to show something on special teams and also step up immediately to make the roster.

I love Gallup, but I agree you have to be open to idea's like this. He has value, with 2 years on a rookie 3rd pick deal coming off an 1100 yard season. It would take a great player or draft comp to make me consider it though.

Aaron Parker - Watched one game of his; Ohio. Showed contested catch ability & jump ball ability. Didn't separate vertically. Bad measurables.
Francis Bernard - Wasn't that high on him and he's got some red flags.
Garrett Marino - Watched one game of his; Appalachian State. Showed some good traits with mobility & quickness off the snap. Managed some tackles for loss. Main issue is the measurables; bad testing numbers and lacks the size of a DT.
Luther Kirk - Watched one game of his; North Dakota State. Decent game; particularly his coverage.
Rod'Dell Carter - Only saw one game of his. Meh.
Sean McKeon - Good run blocker. Featured in protection, but not very good at it. Limited production as a receiver.
Sewo Olonilua - Didn't really see it with this guy. I knew they were projecting him as a FB, but I didn't think much of his limited run blocking on tape.
Terence Steele - I like him. Main issue is consistency, but he's got potential if you can put it all together.

Man, so glad we grabbed Rico dawdle Sc rb. This is a nice tough runner. Gotta be better tan Chunn or whoever we have as backup. Check him out against a good defense in the alabama game.

I like gallup The point is that you can’t pay everyone and his value is very high. If he doesn’t see the field this year then we’d have let that asset go to waste.

It’s smart roster management to consider it.

If Gallup doesn't see the field this year? I guess you missed last year. :muttley:
