Better Call Saul

Started this last season and am 4 episodes in but this has been my least favorite season so far. If I wasn't already vested in it, I would dump out. Too much screen time to marginal actors. However, I did enjoy seeing Hank show up as he was one of my favorites in Breaking Bad.

The season finale was fantastic, it looks like all hell is going to break loose in season 6.

I just hope we don't have to week 18 months for it.

Man that miss is going to be a problem for somebody...

Watched 2-3 seasons of it but I couldn't get into it. Gonna have to try watch it again one day

Finished the latest season last night and I liked this season but it was not my favorite. Breaking Bad set the standard for surprises within the season, catching us off guard, and Better Caul Saul carried that on but that ending was so formula TV that I was really disappointed in how they did that. However, the latest turns with Kim are intriguing and I want to see where the moral compass for Jimmy is taking him next.

I love this show.
However I think it is hurt by the idea that you already know how it will end and therefore know that this or that person is safe while others will not be.

You don't know how it ends for a lot of the characters, including Saul. That's what makes it interesting.

We do know that for several of them, including Saul. This is all leading up to when they all cross paths, Saul, Mike, Walter, Jesse and Chicken Man. Kim has shifted into THE person of interest in the story and we do not know her path yet. And this next season is supposed to answer all the questions, they're stopping at 7.

However, that is inherent in any prequel and they've kept the fans with our guesswork of just when this crosses paths with Breaking Bad and how they bring that about. My biggest question, other than Kim's future, is will they bring in those characters with parallel story lines before they actually meet, which should be the end of Better Call Saul next season.

I wish Sutter had decided to do a prequel about Jax's father, Clay and Gemma for Sons of Anarchy instead of that sequel. He's struck out at the plate since SOA while BB's show runners have struck gold. They also answered the question what happened to Jesse?

That Sequel is a very well written show and the cast is really good. I have zero complaints with the Mayans.

We don't know how it ends for Saul, hence the black and white Omaha scenes. We know nothing of Kim, Nacho, or Lalo's fate.

We do know how it ends for Saul because of BB. The other 3, yep, we don't know what happens to them except none of them show up in BB.

No we don't. All of the black and white scenes are showing him managing the Cinnabon in Omaha. His story isn't over yet.
