Dak is still going to sign on his own timeline without this other QB hire putting any pressure on him what-so-ever. Signing Dalton is a no leverage move. Even if he doesn't sign his tag until the 3rd week of the regular season, Dak will be the starting QB as soon as he signs. Dalton has no hope what so ever to displace Dak. All you people need to understand this.

I agree, signing Dalton was a great move by the Cowboys. Now they have a hope of still winning games while/if Dak decides to hold out for a while. But its still Dak's job to claim any time he is ready to do so. Even with no training camp, Dak just has to sign the dotted line.

Cincy is different, no doubt, but while it's possible Dalton wouldn't have done better if he had been in Dallas, we can't just assume it, or that he would have done as well as Dak. It's an unknown.

Of course, I'm not a fan of putting wins and losses solely on the QB anyway, whether it's Dalton or Dak.

every rb known to the nfl and under have low average games its what they do over time SMH but cherry picking two games for RB that makes 12mil a year and a QB whos demanding 35 not even close Daks not 2.5 times better then zeke nor is his worth or contributions..zekes led the league in carries over 4 years two rushing titles, led the league in YPG in his wrongful suspension and last year he led the league in first half yards means he came out and ran well especially eh second half of the season and was on fire only to have Km try and use Dak too much get away from the run and LOSE.. zekes supposed down year hes 4th in rushing 30yards from CM who just got paid more..

hes not even utilized in the pass game properly, blame moore and yes Dak throwing worm burners and 1oft high passes and behind throws to rbs etc
