Imagine being SO stupid that you cite Dak going 8-8 as the reason he sucks (despite that pesky 40-24 overall record)... while simultaneously giving Andy Dalton a pass for going 2-11 last year and having 4 straight losing seasons.
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

lol it’s not that he went 8-8. He could’ve did that and still been in the playoffs. It’s the fact that he lost that 8th game first with their season and his contract on the line.. Then goes on to win that 8th game in garbage time against the worst team in football. But by all means include that crap win in your ridiculous statistic. What an amazing QB! Funny how W/L isn’t a QB stat when anyone mentions the Philly game?

lol I’m beta.. For what?

You’re the one on here getting emotional and using your cute little laughing imogi’s.

Comparing Dak and Dalton is not a joke but it takes some simple complex thinking on things like:

1. Not thinking the Bengals and Dallas are an exact parallel of one another.

2. Factoring in money.

I have not said Dalton is better then Dak.

All I have said is Dalton in this environment can give you Dak like results and I think Dak in Daltons environment would give Dalton like results.
You clearly have beta traits. It’s okay.

A beta male would make excuses for the $3 mil QB and attempt to put him on the level of the alpha who’s making over $30 mil.

I already pointed out that Dak’s outperformed Dalton by a mile. Betas often support the clear-cut loser because they see themselves in the loser. Your excuses for why Dalton hasn’t played as well as Dak are simply adorable.

You’re Andy Dalton. Dak represents the cool kid in HS who got the girls and could even charm his teachers. You were the fat kid who took a cow to prom.

Wins and losses are never a QB stat regardless of narrative and agenda. This is one of the most fundamental rules in the NFL that a bunch won't admit/don't understand.

What’s a ridiculous statistic? Is it Dak’s superior career stats or his 40-24 W/L record?

Don’t hurt yourself trying to understand this sport.

Dang, Dak losing even his biggest supporters....

The thread title is a blatant misrepresentation of what Skip said - but that's what you always do to fit your obsessive narrative about Dak.

Skip did not say he would just "go with Andy". He never indicated he didn't prefer Dak, he just indicated he is happy to have Dalton in case a deal with Dak doesn't get done,

What Skip actually said was, (1) Jerry has the best backup the Cowboy have had since Danny White, (2) this gave Jerry leverage in the negotiation with Dak, and (3) it gave Jerry a great option in case he can't make a deal with Dak.

Teams had no tape on him in 2016 to see all his flaws.
It is what it is Dak-Zoid....

Yep, similar to RGIII in 2012. Remember him during his rookie year? Funny how nobody talks about 2012 when the subject of Robert Griffin the 3rd comes up.

Look, I like Dak, very much so. Do I like him for 35 mil a season, or a top 5 QB salary? Um, no. Just because the Rams paid Goff ridiculous money doesn't mean Dallas has to follow suit for Dak. Enough with feeding this "well, that's what the QB market is nowadays" narrative.

And part of me thinks that the Jones' have buyer's remorse for signing Zeke to that contract. So much so that Dak and potentially others down the road will see the effects of it. Nothing wrong with bringing a little Patriots hardball to negotiations -- it only took the Joneses a quarter century.

But if you think your back is elite, why would you only give him the ball 13 times, especially when you knew your QB was hurt? That's just dumb.
I have a hard time accepting he was that hurt considering the game he had the following week against the stinks...It's not like he was playing with a broken back or a bad lung.

lol. Come on bro. Dak is a clear downgrade? The same Dak who was held back from passing during the 4th quarter of their Week 17 game against the Commanders, even though our Cowboys had a 3 score lead and Garrett and Jerry knew Dak was within 1 yard of tying Romo's single season franchise passing record, 2 passing yards from breaking it, and less than 100 yards from being the 1st Cowboys QB to pass for 5K yards in a season? But, hey, that was part of Jerry's plan to keep Dak from demanding more money for his new contract, eh? You don't think Dak realized that? If we did, I'm pretty sure Dak did as well.

You know the same Dak Prescott who is on pace to shatter most, if not all, of Romo's franchise records if he's allowed to start for another 6 years. He's actually on pace to break them all before those 6 future seasons are up.
Judging by this post of yours, you're more enamored with shiny, bright, stats, rather than the most important stat: Ws and Ls.

You’re clueless! lol
Taking out his rookie year in which no one knew anything about him and he truly had a stacked team going for him..his record the last 3 yrs is 27-21.. definitely not elite...and it's also funny how everyone comments on how a great leader he is and how the team follows him,it's a foregone conclusion that the team quit last year and if dak was truly the a great leader, that never would have happened, could you imagine Roger or Troy not doing anything about it?

Actually, I think they're both somewhat similar in terms of their accuracy and arm strength.

Anyhow, it's seems nice to have a backup who's capable of winning in a pinch, if need be!

Plus the overall record tells you nothing at all. No one on this team steps up to the plate. Maybe that changes with McCarthy? At least I'm hoping!! But seems like a 35 million dollar risk that's not really worth taking.

lol oh my..

How is Dak a winner and Dalton a loser?

They have similar results and Dak has a whopping 1 playoff win in 4 years.

How can anyone so emotional call someone beta.
