Lol! Thanks for this. I believe what I see and type but mostly just try to get the Dak boys riled up! It’s fun for me to read their comments. I’m from MS and have always pulled for Dak. I’ve watched him play for a long time. I was very excited after his rookie year but I’m a Cowboys fan first. He just has so many flaws! I want another SB win before the good Lord calls me home and I ain’t gettin no younger!

Don't need to. There is plenty of game tape where he has hit his target, and plenty where he missed. Just like with any QB. Unless the receivers have been throwing to themselves again.

Its fairly plain to see that Prescotts reps are banking on Jerry always caving because he is so desperate to win, and he ought to be.

It didnt help that him and his kid any chance they got would say that they have already decided to extend Prescott, and he is their guy etc....

No one is perfectly accurate all the time. The best of the best miss wide open receivers.

The problem I have with Prescott is way too many times on a crucial 3rd down, he could extend a drive with his legs, but he passes on that to try to make a big play and misses.

In that scenario it could be game changing to leave our defense on the bench and the opponents defense getting more gassed.

Worked like a charm in 2016 until yet another Cowboys team was unprepared for the big stage.

I agree with you. Especially this last year. I think Dak was pushing too hard to inflate his numbers for his contract. That hurt the team. I would rather he just ran for the first down or dumped it to Zeke.

I wonder if that was him, or him being told to hold back on that run?

Lol! Standard? What do I want in a QB for the boys? I certainly want one that is a lot more accurate than Dak is in these videos. I could go thru the whole gamut of his limitations but a lot here don’t or refuse to see them. IMO...Dak is tough as nails, a leader on the field and says all the right things in press conferences. All other areas of his game are lacking.

Stats are for fantasy football but you are correct about watching but they don’t have a clue what they are seeing.

Stats are representative of actual events in actual football games. They are also excellent predictors of future events. it does not get any more real than the game itself.

Compare with your emotional qualitative opinions, cherry picked anecdotes, and a "skills competition" from 3 years ago.

All I get from your faction is a decided lack of critical or scientific thinking and a whole lot of groupthink.

Thanks for posting. I will say this if Dak doesn’t want to sign at Dallas’s level they are going to move on. McCarthy knows QBs. I can guarantee Jerry wouldn’t have done this with the previous fraud in charge. I bet McCarthy has said I can win with this guy and we can look to develop someone. That could be next year’s top pick. I think Dak is a good QB but I trust the coach. If they don’t get a deal done it is clear Big Mike told Jerry Dak isn’t worth it.

Okay ....good. But I am asking what QB do you like more, and the reality of having the perfect QB here at this time. No trap....just curious how we cold do better.
