I DO dislike him now.
I DID NOT a few seasons ago.

The reason I personally dislike him NOW is because, IMO, he is just an AVERAGE QB THAT is not on this senses and is demanding TOP DOLLAR that is is not worth.

Typing coherent sentences is difficult whilst inebriated eh?

I just said IT. I WILL SAY IT AGIAN I personally think that the DAK IS NOT better than ANY of the other current starters at this point.

so early on you liked him, but now as he’s improved exponentially you think a bunch of bums are better than him. Definitely checks out. Good stuff

AT this point... i dont think if he were release... he would start on ANY TEAM. I think all teams are set with that they have at QB
That's not the same as saying he isn't worthy of being a starter. At this point most teams either have their QB in place, either with the one from last year, or a free agent acquisition or draft pick. And even if teams feel Dak is a better player than they have, they may have already committed a big contract or a high draft pick to the position, and can't walk away from it. Accordingly, your comment only speaks to current opportunity, not talent level.

Had Dak become an unrestricted free agent when his contract ended back in March, his opportunities would have been very different. They would be different next year as well.

But if you are going to claim Dak is only worthy of being a back up, you have to be able to point to 32 QB's who are more worthy of starting than he is.

Sadly, I think that Dak is a very good BACKUP.

If that’s all you think he is then sadly football isn’t your sport. You should find a sport to follow that you’re more in tune with.

I remember when you and your like use to ask, "But who are you gonna start?"

Good times . . . But the Times they are a Changing.

If you require 1 team . . . It would be Chocolate City, Washington. . . They would sell a ton of Jerseys
Me and my like? lol That's funny - and goofy as hell.

And what I said here doesn't in any way contradict the previously asked question of who would start if Dak were gone, so I don't know what your point is.

Of course, we now have at least a short term alternative in Dalton, but what you are talking about is a question asked before Dalton was on the team. And even now, Dalton would likely be no more than a short term band aid.

I actually think the rookie can beat out Dalton in training camp

Haha this is too funny. I do think it's that Cowboys have a higher % of idiot fans, I just think it's that we have so many fans that naturally there are more idiots.

Because the rookie is that good, or because Dalton is that bad?

I'll have to disagree on this, but I would love to find out the rookie really is that good. I don't see Dalton going anywhere regardless though. He is the one with a proven ability at the NFL level, and he is guaranteed $3 million

I don’t think Dalton has the arm strength to make the outside throws. He floats the ball deep. The only thing good about him is he can read a defense. Yeah I think the rookie will beat him out

In an absolutely impossible scenario, but I CAN DREAM can I? If Dak gets released will be be the absolute starter in any other team?

What are your thoughts?

Well, at least this is as realistic as Dak being worth 3 1st rounders!

Prescott it’s better than anyone in his draft class. I can’t help but wonder what he thinks about Carson Wentz a Jared Goff

Fans need to pick a lane. Either wins mean something or they don't. You can't say, on the one hand, he's had X amount of wins in his four years but then turn around and say that an 8-8 season doesn't matter because he threw for 5K, or what have you. I know what I think but how do you even discuss stuff if you can't even settle on something like this?

No, that's not really what he's talking about (or at least what I'm talking about). I'm not saying there are 32 QBs definitely better than Dak. I'm saying there may not be enough available QB "situations" right now.

Haskins and Tua are both first round picks on cost controlled deals. These guys don't get drafted to sit, they're going to play so you can find out what you have.

I guess I did not take into account what kind of deal Dak would sign. If Dak were willing to sign a 1 year 3 million dollar deal, then that may change the equation for some teams (like the Jaguars).

Maybe you are the only one that understands me
Dak is just average, but i guess when you disagree with others the trend is to get attacked
