This is what it boils down to. We'll sit here and argue all spring and summer. Maybe into the fall, lol?

But it falls to MM. I trust him to play the best player for him.
No it does not.

MM will get more freedom to make decisions than any HC since Jimmy but benching Dak is not a decision that would be made by MM.

Sorry you are confusing Philip Rivers for Dak. Rivers stepped over the line. Dak was just complaining to allow for the extra 4 pts

Dak was like, " yo brah can I still get those 4 pts. though".

So after all those excuses, what you are saying is Dak only had 11 pts and Andy had more
It is moronic to compare a QB that had been in the NFL 1 season with one that he been in the NFL for 6 seasons. Just having been through that competition in the past makes a big difference.

I remember watching that when it went down and couldn't wait to see how Dak performed. I was completely shocked that it took him several throws to reach the deeper targets. They were all short. Dak had to regroup and take a running start to throw the ball at the deeper targets. Dak was horrible in this and it wasn't even close. Dalton had a similar weak arm but at least was more accurate.

I dont believe for one second that Andy Dalton would get a fair chance at winning the starting job if Dak gets signed to a monster contract. This is a typical move by the front office to make sure they don't look bad. Jerry would tell McCarthy play Dak we paid him.

LOLLLLL

When your sad reality has set in...

When stats and W/L record completely destroy your garbage anti-Dak argument...

Simply turn to 3-year old footage of a Pro Bowl QB accuracy competition!
:lmao2:
In reality, it's the only "apples to apples" comparision that we have. Since both QBs played in different offenses with different players, talent, schemes and coaching. It's like arguing Trent Dilfer was better than Archie Manning, when the enviroments were so different.

Here in the competition, everything and everyone was under the same conditions and opportunities.

His greatest season was his rookie year and now we can't judge it.

Dak Fanboys always moving the goal posts.
Ps. NFL QB's usually have their accuracy issues figured out by the time they are a rookie . . . it'd only Dak who is "Still Improving"

Dak and Dalton went head to head in 2016. Dallas won 28 to 14. Dak had rating of 117. 9 while Dalton's was 104.6.

So Dalton can throw at all the stationary targets he wants. But when it really counted Dak earned the victory.

In reality, this isn’t an actual NFL competition by any wild stretch of the imagination.

And in your sad little analogy, guess who’s Trent Dilfer and guess who’s Archie Manning?

HINT: Follow the money. Follow the stats. Follow the W/L record.

Dak won on long throws but more knucklehead fans didn't watch the entire video...

You make a great point. Dak...imo...has had "more trouble" with the short throws than long ones. You can come at me....it's just an opinion And I never said he sucks, not here not ever.......let's get that right out there and over with now.

Yep....Dak got the win. I see when Dallas wins...he gets the credit? And when he loses.."but it's a team game".
I'll have to find that game's highlights...I don't remember it at all. But again....a case of using stats to prove something? Doesn't tell the whole game story. 104.6 isn't terrible is it?
