Video: Cowherd: 2 reasons Dak doesn’t deserve $35m per year

The Eagles did not improve at Wr. They have the same as last year who were mostly injured (Jeffries and Jackson) and a rookie in Reagor. I don’t see how that is improving. If that is improving than his points of the Cowboys not addressing the defense with their safety and CB leaving is moot since they did sign Dix and drafted Diggs and other CB from Tulsa. Colon needs to his homework before he shoots his mouth off but that will be asking too much.
 
Cowherd can really sound reasonable at times. He’s smart and unafraid, and I agree with many things he says, BUT, he see us taking a step back from 8-8. According to Cowherd, the defense is weaker, but I disagree. For one thing, we’re more stout at DT. Secondly, while we lost Jones, we added Diggs, Robinson, Clinton-Dix, and Canady to the secondary. Third, our scheme won’t be as simple and predictable.

Cowherd is smart, but he doesn’t know the Cowboys like we do, and dramatized doom-n-gloom concerning the Cowboys is good for his paycheck.

You guys got recognizable names at DT...and bigger (at least with Poe). It remains to be seen if you got better…

These guys are not in their prime...and we’re part of a very bad run defense last year. I don’t remember these signings being thought of as ‘huge’ around the league. I understand they were very welcome here since DT seems to have been an oversight of the Cowboys defense for a while. But we don’t know if these guys really represent a sizable upgrade.

I also think losing Jones is bigger than many here think.

It’s possible, but while Jones was a freak athlete, he wasn’t known as a ball hawk.

We really do need a Dak zone to clean this area up. I don’t come to CZ as much anymore because it’s the same talking heads bashing about the same stuff. Let’s face it, no one is going convince anyone to come to the other side anymore. It’s all the same crap being spewed over and over again. Some of y’all are talking into brick walls.
