Take out the two Giants games. Take out the Dolphins game. Take out the Commanders games, one of which was meaningless at the end. Those teams were gawd awful.

Dak led us to a whopping 3-8 record against the rest.

yet, not giving up and getting to a point, with a chance to complete the comeback...

and should we look at these in isolation or compare to other QBs in the league?

while we are at it, can we take the easy teams and blow outs out of games for Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Wilson, etc...…..

I don't see that as logic because the Cowboys wanting Dak under team control for 5 years instead of 4 would indicate the team is convinced Dak is worth a big contract. If going by media reports, the hang up is only on that 5th year, which Dak doesn't want to be part of the deal and the team does.

The illogical part of your post was that you commented that teams make the choice of what a player is worth.

Therefore JJ believes Dak was not worth a 4 year contract at $35m.

We agree that JJ probably thinks that Dak's worth 5 years of similar AAV giving him flexibility (especially in 2021 and '22)

Yeah, This is a tough way to communicate. No tone, inflection, and my mind goes much faster than my fingers. It sounds good when I type it, but sometimes my thoughts get lost in the translation.
