That was an atrocious pass, but Gallup gets tackled immediately, granted for a first down, if the throw is on the money.

No, he did not play a great game. But this defense was horrific.

Dak had a passer rating of 99.2. He had 266 yards passing at 8.3 yards per completion. 1 TD passing and another TD rushing.

His QBR was 84. While playing a good defense on the road in the playoffs.

He wasn’t magnificent, he made some mistakes, but he played well enough to win the game if the defense doesn’t get absolutely obliterated for 270 yards rushing. Half of which was to an overweight backup RB who was literally signed off the couch mid season.

They still stuck around another year and failed yet again. Meanwhile the QB had his best season.

I really don't get your logic using this game to determine why he should not get a new contract.

This forum is littered with Dak threads. My OP was to show that fans need to stop looking at only the box score when evaluating the QB. There are fans on here that think he played well in ALL of his playoff games.

this only one play, how many times during games did Dak under and over throw. I remember saying we need slower recovers many many times.

Funny how you pointed to his passer rating but not game changing plays he made.

Even in the play I pointed out above, if Gallup catches and runs for another 20 yds, we score on that drive which wouldve been crucial considering we lost by one possession.

Instead, he throws behind Gallup, and gets sacked on the next play. Fans blame the o-line and overlook the play beforehand. Ongoing cycle with dak fans.

And bfor you start, yes I do acknowledge he made a great play to Cooper and Gallup.
