No I wouldnt keep Elliott for 10 million per year. Simple answer.

My simple question was made so even the dumbest poster could answer it. For some reason you got angry and confused. Not my problem. If you dont like it then leave the thread or put me on ignore. AGAIN...........either way I dont care.
Are you drinking? This isn’t normal

Deon signed a 5 or 7 year deal with the deadskins for 55 million. Got a guaranteed 8.5 million dollar signing bonus. Played for that 1 season and retired.
Can you get to keep the money I don’t think so I’m not sure it’s the same thing but. He did leave them flat looking for a corner

So one good mistake deserves another?
I don’t think Pain Prescott is a mistake. I think he’s the same quarterback he was in 2016 . The team has been in turmoil since then will get back with the new coach

I think the bigger question is are we willing to let Dak go if he doesn’t accept what we’re offering.

While there’s a sizable segment of his supporters who might not agree we should pay him 40 they also wouldn’t want to let him walk over a few million. Which means ultimately they’re willing to pay whatever it takes.
40 million. The question is for how long. It’s too shallow of a steam it that’s why I can’t answer it. He has an agenda we know this

Some guys are born with the ability to see the game in a different way. For them it is clear how the game is played, and they cannot settle for less than what they know.
Dak is not that guy. He feels as if he has earned marquee pay because he followed directions and did what they told him to do.
But that's not leading.
He doesn't demand that the players around him conform to what it takes to win. He simply does as he is told, and if the Cowboys don't win, he believes that is on the coaches to figure out.
That is his shortcoming.

Have you read your own posts? The only thing that you see is PBR.

In case you were wondering this is now the 4th or 5th post in a row of yours that I have considered too dumb to even bother responding. Cant believe I actually responded.
The Waterboy is one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies.
Not only is it hilarious, but it has an inspiring message that nearly all fans will relate too, and why I thought of the following quote when reading your response/posts.
One of my favorite quotes of all times, everytime I read anything you post I think of this famous line....
“Which brings me to my second point, kids. Don’t do crack.” -Lawrence Taylor

Anyone? I definitely wouldn’t and I haven’t heard anyone else say they would.

Would anyone?

Let me see, if I trade in my car, refinance the house, get cheaper chow for my dog, not get divorced....

When mahomes signs it will blow the market up. Don’t think for a second that he is gonna take a team friendly deal. I don’t care what he said. His agent is getting top dollar. 38-40 to start from the chiefs side as openers. Dak don’t have a SB ring but it won’t stop his agent from upping the price. Same goes for the next QB’s coming up for contracts. Heck tannehill just got 30 a year. Lol.
I DO think Mahomes will take a team friendly deal.
But its all relative.
His team friendly deal may be 40/yr when he could fight for 45

Your right. It’s just the market. Looking at his stats and not the eye test or opinions. Dak appears to have top 10 stats. Right there with goff and wentz. Maybe the issue is that Dak wasn’t a high first round pick. Everyone wants him to take 4th round money. If he was a high first round pick then maybe people would expect him to want this much money.
Dak’s draft position didn’t matter after the day he was drafted. He was on the team and IMO, it doesn’t matter how he got there. After his first contract, there is no such thing as 4th round money.

Good for you. I have the same outlook when it comes to these message boards. Ignoring certain posters defeats the purpose of debating on these boards. If you only want to hear one viewpoint, why bother with posting?

I wouldn't. It's just too much. The team has talent needs to be able to succeed with him. I'd hate to see him go, but I would let him walk before doing that.

I was just wondering if he was drafted high first round if some people or media would look at his contract different. He has a lot of the same stats as them.
