The first 4 sites I googled all say otherwise. So you are more of a expert then WebMD, rovercom, petmd, petfinder, all say rottweiler is a top 10 most intelligent dog breed. Unless you're a canine psychologist, I'll believe them. And probably still would, even if you are.

The problem is the scum that doesn't train their dogs. My favorite breed is the rottweiler, that's a top 10 most intelligent dog in the world. The pit bull which is probably my second favorite dog, was the first dog to ever live in the White House. Ask any 90 year old and they will tell you the pit bull is the perfect family dog. If you get a working, herding dog, like these, take the time to train it.

The family I know had a terrific pit bull. I was around it plenty, and never saw an issue.

Until it attacked and almost killed a small child across the street for no reason.

They are wild animals.

I’ve dealt with a few dog bites in my life, ~5-6, and all were pit bulls but one. Kind of like zeke always being in trouble...it’s not just coincidence.

People who defend them generally have a dog story or two where they were friendly. They fail to examine the big pic.

We once had a raccoon dog who was one of the best hunting dogs we ever had. Of all things, he was a border collie/cocker spaniel cross. No, that breed is not known for hunting varmints.

I went online and read some more . This isn’t the first incident with the dogs. He’s liable. And that statement alone. Legally hold him responsible he knew what they were capable of

he should be but.....
from what I read in the other thread, it isnt a crime, and he is not liable for much at all.
Just no laws to cover this , or they are not very good laws.

Good. I hope she gets a ton of money. People need to control their dogs. She is there working and you cant put the dogs in the house? getting dragged by one of them. Thats crazy. I love me some Zeke but he needs to pay.

Pit bulls should be banned. Too many incidents, and they're too capable of killing.

There are packs of them roaming around in cities, too.

they should be , so you might wonder why local govts dont do just that??

There should be laws governing any animal as a pet that might be big and or dangerous.

Could have something to do with pet food industry, which wants everyone to have a dog, and they dont care what, just keep
buying all the food we make and sell at outrageous prices.

Most insurance carriers don't cover attacks by pit bulls, akitas, rotts, dobermen, chow, shepherds, etc. Very unlikely he'll be covered.

Pit bulls are banned in a dozen countries around the world. Many in europe. But also in brazil and new zealand. Seems the responsible thing to do.

That is a problem because 90 % of dog owners dont train their dog for anything.

Pitbulls properly trained and treated, are not 100 % safe, just more safe than the others.
They are geared to attack, and while they may like you and not hurt you, they could be triggered to attack someone else.

There are more pitbull attacks on people than probably any other animal. Rots are 2nd .
Many attacks result in deaths, and other severe damage like a face torn off etc.

So is it smart to let just anyone own one of these types of dogs?? lol I dont think so , yet govts do nothing in regard to these types of dog
or who can own them.
If your pro pitbull, that would change if you or someone u care about is ever attacked by one.

People like having powerful animals as pets, some even have tigers lol , but it is dangerous, and most people that own pitbulls
are not capable of keeping them from hurting someone.

It sounds to me like elliots dogs are totally untrained, and are prone to violence, yet if these dogs were put down, he could just get some
more dogs, and create same situation again.

If elliot was not on the cowboys, if he was on the eagles team you would probably not be defending him, and would be trashing him.
But since he wears the star, he and his dogs can do whatever they want , and it is A ok with you ?

The the thing is , in the past , before the internet, we knew nothing about the players, unless it got in a newspaper, which was rare.
now days we get all sorts of information on them , and it can make them unlikable. Except for those who just are into hero worship.
