That's the only comment Brax can come up with. Any stat or thread showing Dak in a good light, Brax and Williamsboys comes in posting 8-8 because they can't come up with any other original thought. They just try to collect likes from the usual suspects.

Many others bring up the 8-8 also. They have nothing. If they bring up 8-8 as a team issue, and the lame coaching that is different. But it is not all on Dak.
They can continue to collect likes from each other. It is like Facebook and Twitter, people want to collect fake friends.. No offense to the cool people that use those means of social media though.

But when they were in, the plays were designed for them as the target, weren't they? I don't remember ever seeing either of them as the 2nd or 3rd option, with the possible exception of Jarwin's long TD up the middle of the field. (Can't remember who it was against.) Even that may have been the plan from the snap.

Oh no, not even slightly.

Jarwin had several long TD's up the middle against the Giants.

2018, he had 3 TD's all against the Giants. 13, 19, 39 yards. All in the last game.
2019 he had a 42 and a 28 yard TD against the Giants, one in each game.
Had a 1 yard TD against the Eagles.

So 5 of his 6 career TD's came against the Giants.

To what are you referring, the Jarwin TD? I'm pretty sure he wasn't the 1st target on that play, and it was a great one.
I'm referring to Pollard and Jarwin being the primary targets when they were on the field.

I know you're playing devil's advocate, but just be happy Witten has moved on and hope and pray that Zeke doesn't see the target share theyve been giving him the last couple years.

Interesting that this has little to do with how mobile a QB is.

Brady is slow and old, yet he's better at dodging sacks than the young and fast Lamar Jackson.
Brady usually just steps up into the pocket and gets rid of the ball quickly. That's a good thing, but it doesn't really speak to what we think of as elusiveness, which is what I think some people here may have in their minds, when they think of avoiding sacks.

Yep, found that odd too. Bet it does favor larger QBs though despite Brees being up there.

Zeke made some incredible plays on screen passes last year. I'd like to see him get more upfield passes, and get him into the open field. As for Witten, his time is over, but he was great at what he did.

Player stats try to measure individual performance.

Individual players can't win Superbowls by themselves.
That you Captain Obvious you've made my point for me. Individual stats don't when Superbowls because individuals can't win by themselves. So a player stats mean almost nothing when it comes to team goals.

You know what I meant when I said that anyway, but thanks for the response.

we'll see if this continues. We can only hope Dak continues to improve because just a year ago Dak was literally the worst at pocket awareness and the defenders of course were blaming everything around him but himself.

Dak became so much better at this last year.

I’ve been watching several 2018 games lately and he was awful in this regard that season.
He took a major step forward last year after working with Tom Brady's personal QB coach in the off-season.
His footwork and pocket presence were highly elevated.

Had he not been injured late in the season I suspect he would have led the league in passing yardage and many advanced stats.

Eight and Eight is not that great.
8 - 8 got us this guy...

Would have missed out on him with a better 2019 record. We should be thankful for that 8 and 8 record last year.

That's the great thing about this thread, it proves that claims such as "just a year ago he was literally the worst at pocket presence" was literally a lie detractors came up with and chose not to blame anyone else other than Dak.

Dak was already good, but as young QB's do, they improve. Biggest difference was the level of talent he had to throw to, but it was Moore opening up the passing attack.

Guess @Brax isn't in the majority, he is also brain dead.

Notice you are the one that has to come up with excuses for why the stats don't matter, not the other way around. Stop embarrassing yourself.
Question is do you even have a brain? Excuses, never made one up for or against Dak excuses are your specialty along with a few others, it is sad anything other than Dak is elite, great and you take to insults. Look forward to your next idiotic post so I can get another good laugh.
