Ok, but how many Giants games do you get? My point was that Giants fans get almost every Cowboys game on TV. I've only said I have a pretty good idea about Eli because I get every Giants game. I have more opportunity to tune in.
I get every single game I have league pass. When I was younger I use to be able to watch Eli all the time....I can't say that I can now since I'm now a parent during this whole Daniel Jones so I don't have the time to watch all the rivals like I use to.

You would be correct that our front office doesn't know what they are doing. Chiefs drafted mahomes in the first round so they get the 5th year option. used his 4th and 5th year as a buffer and made sure to get the deal done early so it gives the front office more flexibility with the cap. I believe they even used some money from his extension in this year's and next year's cap hit. It's easy to see who are the better run teams in the league. And the cowboys aren't even close.

The time to sign Dak to an extension was after his 3rd year. That would be the best for the team. They could have dumped a sizable portion of his signing bonus on year 4 and the rest of his contract would have been manageable cap wise. It probably wouldn't even have been 35 a year since Wilson hadn't signed yet. I mean c'mon! And if Dak didn't work out, Dallas probably would have had an out in 3-4 years. About the same time it would take to find another QB.

Correct!
Why tie up all that cap cash for Dak is beside me esp when you just picked up a better QB in Dalton.
25 years of misery verify Jerry as the worst GM in football!

I don't know about a better QB in Dalton. I consider Dalton to be a possible place holder like we did with Bledsoe. But hey, Tannehill took his team to the AFC championship, so anything can happen. But back then the Cowboys screwed the pooch too. The Cowboys have a placeholder in Bledsoe and bypass Rodgers. He was there with our second pick in the first round. To me that was a no brainer in 2005. No one thought he would drop that far.

I am not in the minority plenty of people do this. Why would a persons fandom inform him/her more about a team or player? That makes zero sense. I would bet I know as much about the giants organization as any giants fan. There is only so much information available and its easy to find.
Because a Giants fan is tuned in 100% to that team. The inside and outs. You aren't. You are just watching watching a "condensed" version of what those guys follow daily.

and this is false. I watch the games, I read both ny papers although not as much as I used to I read their website/media and watch some of their shows. I know the nfc east teams as well as Dallas.

its beyond easy to pay attention closely to four teams. FOUR. it's simple. You are like two time zones behind your own *** in this discussion.

You are getting upset but I'm just not buying what you're selling. I don't know what to tell you. I will trust a Giants fan on Daniel Jones before I would yours. Sorry. I don't know what to tell you. I'm suppose to trust your opinion on a team as opposed to someone who follows them 24/7? Nah buddy. I can't buy what you selling man.....

In terms of dalton he only has a 1 year deal so he isn't even an option moving forward unless you want to pay him significantly after this season.

And in terms of the front office that is what I was saying. Half the time I feel like they have no plan in place. This whole fiasco with dak is totally botched. The whole situation with Amari was even dumber. People fail to realize the team has to set up "team friendly" deals. It isn't up to the player. Timing is everything. And the jones' suck

I watch a lot other team's games live. But I don't dvr them. I have 4 kids and job.

I don't dvr them either, I have two kids, a dog a job and a house.

Nfl gamepass made it simple to watch games. I like to watch all the east games. Knowing the east teams as a long time fan is as important as knowing Dallas. It's always been that way for me and I know many others. It was hard in the non internet years because we could only see what was on locally and read national magazines like SI, Sport, PFW. Today we have all the information we could want a click away. It's not hard nor that time consuming.

Thank you......like they sit here and try to make me believe they watching opposing teams as much as their fans are but ain't no damn way......no way in hell.
Exactly. I mean I watch every single snap of cowboy games. I watch a lot of football but I won't wait for commercial to go to the bathroom during another team's games like I do for the cowboys

Where is this information that dak is a bad qb. Can we get some links? Stats? Anything?

Sure I can help you with that one.

Watch any of the following Cowboy games from last season: -

Saints
Packers
Jets
Patriots
Bills
Bears
Eagles (proper highlights reel in this one)

Although my personal favourite was the Colts game from the 2019 season. The Colts D forced him to throw in to tighter windows that he's normally used to, i.e. receivers were not in 10 yards of open space...and the offense failed to score a single point (I know right!).

He's not a bad QB. Like you mentioned before, between Aikman and Romo. My issue is the bad situation we're in right now due to poor management. You know the term crap or get off the pot? We've done neither. Dallas have bypassed their opportunity to sign a good QB a reasonable contract. Now they're backed into a corner and may have to jettison him. The asking price now and resulting cap hit IMO is beyond his talent.

Don't forget throwing the ball into the ground behind zeke on 4th down vs the vikings when he had cobb dragging across the middle open.

and now the same Dak fans who told me Romo lost the broncos game in 2013 will tell me dak passed for 400 yards against the vikings.

Right. As do I.....I'm also not gonna sit there and watch crappy NFC East football too over some actual good teams lol. I'l watch whoever battling with the Cowboys for the NFC East....but I'm not watching Giants football as much as a Giants fan...or dreadful Commanders football. Hell naw.....

Vikings game was lost on the coach. Bronco's game was lost on Romo's interception. Big difference......they were prepared for the Bronco's game. They came in letting Dalvin Cook go off on them like they didn't expect it.

then you need to adjust what you are talking about. In fact it is you that is less informed not those of us who actually watch all the east games.

And sadly they are about to do it again. I wonder how Dak will do with adding Lamb and adding a "Qb guru".........he's going to get even better and they are going to be sitting here stupid again next year trying to get him for the deal they could've got him for this year.
