McCarthy hasn't even called him. He spends tons of time with Dalton.

That may be why Dak ran to sign that tag early. Got a little scared they'd pull it.

No team is interested in paying Dak big money. They have the same opinion of him as Mike and me. Average quarterback on a juggernaut offense.

It's going to get interesting.

I like Dalton, would rather sign Dak to a long-term contract, but Andy will be a very good stop gap QB and mentor for a young QB if we happen to move on from Dak. If Jerry is butt hurt because Dak didn't sign, Dak will be gone next year, unless he wins us a SB.

Dalton is only signed for a year. So if we move on from we will need to pay Dalton starter money. Is that something you’re interested in?

Problem with comparison... the talent on the offense between Dallas and the Bengals??? Yeah, Bengals were god awful.
I think Dalton has a better throwing arm... I question some of the reads he makes though.

Dallas's offensive line was ranked like 4th and the Bengals were ranked like 30th.

While we had people complaining the line for Dak.

Dalton had the least amount of time to throw of an QB last season. (actually for time to throw he has been at or near the bottom of the list for years... it is a wonder he is still alive)

There will be real competition for Dak , the moment he folds during games, the fans will want Andy in . If the cowboys are not better humming by mid season , watch out . MM and jerry may put Andy in.
