Who cares if he’s better than Dalton. We need him to be better than Prescott and he’s not. And for the money for a back up Stafford go somewhere else

You don’t understand that if a team signs a QB to a 4-5 year contract and age catches up to him in year 3 it could affect the ability of the team to be competitive through years 4-5?

You’re sleeping Stafford hasn’t won anything in 11 years. He has an 0-3 playoff record and 2 of those losses were blowouts. Dak has only played 4 years and has a better playoff record than Stafford.

Staffords time in Detroit is probably coming to an end. There were some rumblings his time there was over earlier this off-season. I think due to cap implications the team decided to hang onto him for another season.

Obviously I'm speculating, but I think 2020 is Staffords last year in Detroit. Matt is a Texas kid and I think the perfect solution for both sides is for Stafford to take over the qb job here in Dallas. This offensive line, these weapons, MM has to know him really well, I think the fit is really really good. This team is in win now mode and you are getting a super talented qb who has experience. What do you guys think?

I think Stafford and Rodgers will both be free next season. If Dak does not agree on a long term deal next offseason, the Cowboys can still get a top 15 quarterback. The issue is if Stafford blows it again in Detroit he will continue to have that loser stink on him. I just can’t get the 2014 playoff game against us of my mind. His butt tightened up in that game. They should have beaten us. In a dream world I would love to see his arm with our wide receivers and MM offense.

Prescott is it going anywhere. I wouldn’t take Rogers this season. Over Prescott. He’s a Hail Mary Media lover boy quarterback.

Rodgers and McCarthy do not have a good relationship, so he wouldn’t be a possibility. I doubt Rodgers will be leaving GB anyway.

Stafford had one of the greatest wide receivers in history for most of his career and did nothing with him.
