He is in no way a reporter. Clarence Hill and Todd Archer are reporters/beat writers. Broaddus is one third of a sports radio show on the number 2 sports station in the number 9 or whatever media market. Thats all. He is a commentator on sports radio show.

And face it, he cultivates "sources" and claims to acquire information others don't have and then he passes it on to the public as a factual account. Aside from that, commentary is also journalism - op/ed pieces in newspapers, editorial segments of television and radio etc ….
