Just goes to show you the real dedication of a guy. Romo lived in a golf community so he could be at the course all the time.

actually Romo lived in an apartment for a long time and The people at the facility in valley ranch used to make him go home. David Lee did a few interviews way back when and said Romo would be there all day and throw the damn ball all day working on technique.

Same thing in the film room, Marc Columbo used to tell stories about Romo living in there. Laurent Robinson and Brice Butler talked about how when they got here Romo was basically the offensive coordinator and he taught them the offense.

but I already know the response so don't bother. I really enjoy the way people just create stuff out of thin air here.

So he never lived in a gated golf community while playing?

I dont know for sure but one has a football field in his back yard and the other a golf course. Pretty telling, no?
No...not really.
And the football field is brand new. It's not like a basketball court where you can practice by yourself. It is more convenient though....and especially if there is a once in a lifetime pandemic.

A round of golf takes about as long as a night out on the town
Romo was pretty much called a home-body by everyone that knew him--including best friends, wife, and ex-girlfriend. Every single one of them said he was kind of boring because it was always about football and he rarely went out.
Dak probably went out on the town or to parties (day and night, at bars, lakes, etc) more in his 1st year than Tony did his entire career.
But yeah, Tony loved golf. So what. Can't practice every hour of every day.

I think they both worked hard on football

He bought a house in a modest neighborhood honestly after the 07 extension. I believe he bought that house in 08 or 09.

He didn't live like a king which Dak appears to already be doing until 2014 when he built the house he lives in today with his wife.

Was it in a gated golf community yes or no?

We can go at this all day.

Sadly the result will be similar to last season.

Our corners will be **** next season. They will get burned on countless occasions. We couldn't afford to keep our All Pro corner because the front office decided to pay Blake Bortles 2.0 over $30 million next season. The upgrade at safety is negligible. Yes Haha will get his interceptions but watch out for those blown coverages - why do you think teams have let him go...

Yet Blake Bortles 2.0 will still be able to massage his stats accordingly because the offense is beyond loaded. Brian Hoyer would win us at least 6-7 games at QB behind this offense next season.

And the Prescott fans will claim that he did his job and just blame the defense...what do you expect when the front office blow countless first round picks on the offense to carry Blake Bortles 2.0!?

It's going to be very tiresome (again).

Not to argue, but didn't Jerry have to tell Romo to put in "Peyton Manning-type time on the job" after his big contract?

geez. You are way smarter than this.

The comment was about Romo taking over and running the offense. It was his, he put in which plays he wanted and had the freedom to go to them.

You are confusing "Command and Control" with effort and attitude.

This responsibility being given to Romo was a reward if you will for his time dedicated, he was now being trusted at all times to be the guy in charge and to do what he thought was best at the line of scrimmage because of his intelligence.

His intelligence has shined as a broadcast and was praised by players he played with.

That was cleared up. Just reading the article that you just linked, it's obvious that he was not saying he wasn't working hard.
Staubach, Brady, Elway, Aikman, Mahomes, Rodgers, and everybody that ever played, were not as obsessed as Manning.
That was the bar of all bars to shoot for.

lol

Why I respond to your ignorance is beyond me but you are incredibly ignorant and the fact that you are intentionally ignorant in order to prop up Dak is actually pretty sorry.
