Awful take. What’s really sad for Cowboys Football is Garrett was arguably the most successful HC in the last 25 years.
Only the 3rd Cowboys HC to win COY, 2nd in wins behind Landry, more division titles and playoff wins than the previous 4 HC and he was hated cause he wasn’t able to do what no one else has done since the 90’s dynasty.
Thanks Jason for the best of the last quarter century of Cowboys Football. It didn’t suk as much as the rest.
He's not even the most successful. By far the most losses since Jimmy. His winning percentage is behind Switzer, Gailey, and Phillips.Awful take.
Garrett was the most successful coach of the last 25 years because he is the only one that could co-exist with Jerry for prolonged periods of time. Jerry also couldn't fire him, even when he deserved to be fired over 7 seasons ago.
And if COY is your measuring stick for greatness, then Chuck Knox is just as great as Bill Belichick and better than Vince Lombardi.
It is what it is.Awful take.

"We had a lot of great days there..."
What is with this guy and the focus on days? Those great days he wanted to continuously stack amounted to a heap of nothing.
This is a lot of stretching for a reason to criticize. Okay, he wasn't a good enough coach, and, like most fans, I'm glad the Cowboys finally made a change, but I how in the world are these comments something to complain about?Spoken like a true loser.
Later, Garrett.
OC of the Giants I think you’ll get your last wish.Personally I wish him well. Professionally I hope he gets his arse handed to him every week during the season.
Well said. Very well said.If you really think about it, Garrett didn’t have that many “great” days when it came to winning big games over a 10 year HC career. You can actually count them on one hand:
2014 @ Seahawks
2016 @ Steelers
2018 Saints in a 3 point home win.
I’m not even going to count the playoff win against the Seahawks. Their season ended the following week.
I wish him well in NY but I won’t miss him in the least.
by the end, he had none!!

Not true at all. He still has 3 that I can think of.

I notice he didn't thank Idgit for having his back on the Zone all these years. Idgit, we tried to tell you, he was not worthy of your love.
