According to reports on practice, Clinton-Dix hasn't even been as good as Heath. Apparently Darian Thompson is playing better.

Heath was always where he was supposed to be and was not a terrible S. His physical limitations kept him from being a good S, especially on open field tackles when the ball carrier had time to make a move. Heath simply could not mirror any type of move, and that's what kept him from being better.

Some guys look worse in practice than they do in games. And like you said, I have heard nothing about Clinton-Dix; good or bad.

They have been trying extremely hard to upgrade at safety and were a finalist to get Jamal Adams. They also love them some ex-Seahawks.

Kinda don’t want him to come either tbh. Not only is he a head case now but he’s also a step slow and has trouble picking up schemes that aren’t the basic legion of boom cover 3.

If he comes on one of those classic Stephen Jones cheap deals ok. Would at that point want us to find a way to use all 3 safeties because we’ll probably have more talent there than CB.
