Where is the internal conflict part?

Earl Thomas got into 2 fights with 2 teammates in separate incidents.

If those aren't a pair of examples of "internal conflict," what is?

Jerry has allowed MM a voice in the team's personnel so far.

I see no reason for that to change at this point in time!

Create conflict where none exists seems to be the mantra of today’s media.
exactly. Opinion by a so called reporter is spun as fact and the gospel truth. Its just nuts.Sports has been infected by this now. Now the players are doing it. Makes it nearly impossible to enjoy it.

I hope the team does have a healthy debate on getting players, not just yes men. Jerry will listen to those around him and it is proven, Is Johnny Manziel QB in Dallas? NO Jerry may have wanted it or thought about it but it did not happen. Debate is a good thing just be able to backup your stance and reasoning

How'd that work out? Do you not think Jerry is capable of learning and not repeating mistakes? I'll give you an example. Remember that Jerry passed on drafting Randy Moss when he had a chance? He learned over the years that was a mistake and learned to never again pass on drafting an overwhelming talented WR when the opportunity is presented to him... the reward of that lesson is Cee Dee Lamb. Jerry could have passed on that pick but no, he remembered the mistake he made when he passed on drafting Randy Moss. Forcing, "the player" on Parcells was a similar mistake and I doubt he repeats it.

There’s some difference with Cee Dee, though. Moss had some character concerns at Marshall if I’m not mistaken, whereas Cee Dee doesn’t have the reputation for getting into trouble that Moss had.

Is Jerry meddling? Lol
so far...I would say NO. Key term, so far. We have to at least acknowledge the fact that JJ and the family have bowed out and allowed mm to run the team, players etc. It seems MM is working in lock step with Will McClay.

True Moss did have issues and on top of that, Irvin was arrested, Mark Tuine died of an overdose, the news about the Cowboys white house was all over the place. Jerry had a good reason to pass on a player with the issues Moss had. Cowboys image took a big hit, had those events not taken place I think Moss to Dallas likely would have happened.

What evidence do we have of that ?

I think there are people on both sides within the building and it looks like they have decided to not rush in. It was reported they are gathering information on the incidents and yesterday they tried Worley and Robinson at safety. To me, it looks like MM convinced Jerry to give him at least a few days to see exactly where the team was and if there were any other in house options. I think that’s where they are right now with the thinking being, if no one steps up everyone should get on board with going and getting him.

:espn:

Mike will not have players in his locker room that he does not want regardless of what Jerry Jones does. That's not going to change unless Jerry is willing to fire mike over it. Bottom line is Jerry is going to respect Mike's opinion.

What planet do you live on?

Lol jerry isn’t meddling. Stop. He hasn’t signed him has he?
if it sounds like a duck, acts like a duck, looks like a duck, smells like a duck.....its a duck....we have seen similar acts from Jerry before.....starts with a hint, a statement that's opposite of the rest of the org,

a strong coach will push back on him, so I hope MC is that type of coach and seemingly he is....pushover coaches like wade and garrett got steam rolled...Jerry is used to steam rolling coaches over the past 14 years.....its a force of habit.....

Jerry can only live with strong coaches for a few short years and as he has gotten older, his patient is less.......he is more and more desparate.....and has made more and more desparate moves even in the last decade.....

If Jethro wants Earl and Cheapskate Son can strike a deal , Mikey won’t be able to stop it.

THE MERE FACT that MM was allowed to hire his own guys. Bring in a player like Dix that HE drafted in GB. Plus the fact that ET still isn't a cowboy. Need more evidence? Look at the players we drafted and the ones we signed. This has Will McClay and MM written all over it. If the old Jerry was drafting and the red failure was here , we would have drafted Diggs in round 1. OR WORSE. We are built to win I think, NOW. The fact we have a staff that is pro level, matters alot. I think over the long haul it will pay dividends.

its not happening. It would have already. This is a new regime and a new thought process.Jerry is still jerry...but he knows if he wants to win a SB before he's taking a dirt nap, then he must try to defer to football guys on the field. He seems to be doing just that. Its been an internal struggle for JJ and even Stevie.

Lol

If there’s an internal struggle it’s between Daddy and Son. Earl probably wants too much.
