No, they are not. I'm not going to do your homework for you. Post their stats for all to see...checked.

Am I the only one who thinks he gets at least one start this year? You know the media is waiting to jump on this one as soon as dak begins to underperform... and I hate to say it but I think this current team could play better with a healthy Andy dalton... maybe I’m just crazy but I think dak is what is holding this offense back at times. Do I think dalton is the answer no... but I think his play style might fit this offense better.
Good to be back boys! It’s been a while!
I never once...not one time...said Dalton should start.Dallas did not bring in Dalton to start. He is a vet backup who can come in at a moments notice should Dak go down and Dalton is here on a 1 year deal nothing more. hell if things get that bad where Dallas wants to replace Dak then Ben DiNucci has a better chance at becoming the next starting QB. Dallas is not building around an old QB.
So once again, you don't think this is Dak hate by the OP:

You didn't see it fit to tell the OP to stop the Dak hate...
But you are quick to post that Dalton having a 0-5 record in the playoffs and he is not what this team needs over Dak...hate towards Dalton that needs to stop.
If people like you (who claim to be Dallas fans) would have 1/100 the impatience with the Dak hate as you do with Dalton hate, maybe people could take you seriously. Literally are defending the backup QB...WHO JUST GOT HERE...more than your starting QB for the last 4 years.
At that point yea, but I dont want to see him out there period if it's not needed

What I have said during all the childish and ego arguing is that I trust MM to play the best player at every position.
As a matter of fact I rarely criticize Dak...and have offered him compliments in the way he has handled being a Dallas Cowboys QB.
I have compliments and criticisms for all the players...and starfan...includes Zeke.
I'm waiting for a couple games so I can see what's up. I've left my sad star face on (from late last season) ....until I SEE the cowboys making me happy again.

No mops ups to keep Dak healthy?
I don't see McCarthy putting Dalton in unless Dak hurt. Frankly I don't see any HC taking out their starting QB unless they get hurt. I know someone will tell me I am wrong and that NO will take out Brees what they fail to mention when they have done that it is to run a wildcat offensive play. I like Dalton and love the fact that a vet was brought in instead of unproven late rd rookies or UDFA rookies. However I don't see Dalton getting any meaningful playing time unless Dak is injured
Mop up? sure come in hand the ball off. Those type of snaps could very well take place but those are not meaningful snaps. Any vet QB can come in and take some snaps and hand the ball off, as far as that goes any rookie QB could do that. However those are not meaningful snaps.
Absolutely true. But do you think the team has a better shot with...We know teams win in the playoffs.
I know Andy is a vet...but it would still give him some snaps with a new team and new system. Maybe a small pass or two as well.
It would be better to have those snaps under his belt, than have to come in cold and asked to go win a game with zero.
I guess I better saying it again. I'm not calling for Dak's head. I hope that is clear enough.
Well clearly, let's hope we will have those privileged opportunitiesNo mops ups to keep Dak healthy?
touché that was a pretty passive aggressive message.Oh God, you mentioned Andy Dalton as a possible starter. It doesn't matter that you qualified with possible scenarios and are obviously just giving your opinion. Those who are in love with Dak and can not allow anyone to suggest that he isn't a HOF-caliber QB will soon come to this thread to call you names. You've done it now. It's time for you to just start a new account and watch this thread balloon to 500 pages of dumpster fire.
that's a general assessment of Dalton. chokes in big games including playoffs. looking back at his career, his winning percentage against teams with a winning record is abysmal. a lot of his wins came against cleveland....I believe in his first 98 games, he won 58 and 10 came against cleveland.....simply put, he is a great back up....Absolutely true. But do you think the team has a better shot with...
Dak vs Dalton playoff stats:
Games = 3 vs 4
TDs = 5 vs 1
Ints = 2 vs 6
Dak lead offense in the Playoffs have scored: 31, 24 and 22 points
Dalton lead offense in the Playoffs have scored: 10, 13, 10 and 10 points
So again, playoff wins are not just about the QB. But .... there can be a case made that Dalton may be one of (if not the) worst playoff QB in NFL history.
