Mental health is the number 1 problem in the world. Why you think the world is so crazy?

I was just reading some of the Unabomber Manifesto the other day. "Disruption of the power process." He has a point. I'd like to hear Jordan Peterson comment on the Unabomber Manifesto. Seems like he's says much the same thing about our need for a "power process", but hasn't analyzed how our psychological drive for the power process may now be maladaptive to societal organization.

What an idiot. "He's the QB of America's Team"..........That's right, Skip, football. He's not a general on a battlefield.

Dak faced natural depression and anxiety. His older brother and best friend committed suicide, and in the aftermath, he was caught up in the COVID-19 solitude. He wasn’t looking for anyone to feel sorry for him. He was sharing what he experienced and that he got better by seeking help. I see that as public service and trying to help others from the path his brother took.

I've always reserved judgment on Stephen A as a person, while hating him as a sports personality. Now I see they're one in the same. Trash.

I'm former military. Classes and base wide briefings on depression and suicide awareness were the norm. The brass never made light of those issues and publicly instilled in us that we should be perceptive of any signs that someone within the ranks is dealing with them, and what symptoms we are to look for if we think they are. If we suspected that a person was struggling with depression/suicidal thoughts and behavior, we were to report this up the chain of command so that person could be helped. From my experience the military generally doesn't make light of that, or tell us to just suck it up. There are numerous channels made available, in which active duty personnel struggling with depression can seek help and not be shamed for it.

Im also former military.... Im not talking rank and file, im talking about the commanders. They might seek help, but they arent gonna stand in front of the troops and talk about all the depression they are having.

You should've thought this response thru. You have no idea what a real leader does, and you have no idea what it's like dealing with depression. Delete this response it's embarrassing and insulting.
I dont? Im a Gulf war veteran that spent 4 months in the middle east at the age of 21. Dont try to tell me what I know and what I dont know, especially about leadership.

Since when is saying you suffered from depression sign of weakness? What planet do you live on? Depression is not a sign of weakness.
Uhm..... have you played football? Have you served in the military? I live in a planet where a room full of 25 year old men full of testosterone dont want to hear guys whining about their depression. I served in the gulf war and cant even imagine trying to sit and tell my marine brothers how depressed I was because I missed my wife and 2 year old daughter. Thats the REALITY of those groups of people. What the hell world do you live in? Maybe today Marines can cry to each other about how sad they are, not when I was in.

The CDC did a survey that 25% of everyone between 18 and 24 thought of suicide during the pandemic. If Dak felt anxiety during that time, he was just like everyone else.
