Live it looked legit. Replay that was a joke and for him to back up the call. Only option there unfortunately is for receivers to sell the arm being held if they are going to call opi when you tug to get your arm back and it’s being held it is going to extend no way around it. Will will see more offensive flopping and ruin the game more.

The refs made bigger mistakes than the players.

1. Granting a timeout to the Rams on the first series when there was no time on the clock.

2. Missed hit to the head on Goff’s int.

3. Bad offensive pass interference on Gallup.

yes it sucks, but the call is right. Gallup had his arm extended literally the entire time when the ball left Daks hand. It would be one thing of Ramsey initiated a hold and Gallup reacted, but Gallup had that lock activated from the start.

Looked like Ramsey had an arm bar on Gallup and he was just pushing Ramsey's hand off of his arm.
That is closer to what I saw too.
I also recall a replay that showed Donald slap Dak on the helmet during a pas rush, didn't see it in real time though.

Just like Mike McCarthy said after the game, "it was just two opposing players engaging in hand fighting."

No pushing was clearly evident, either. That sort of thing is tolerated by officials in practically every game.

Aside from all of that, exacting such a game-deciding penalty at the end of a game isn't usually condoned.

If you had looked closely, you'd have noticed that Ramsey initiated the contact on Gallup.

Such contact is often ignored by the refs. Hand fighting is a highy commonplace incident.

No doubt about that. One of the main reasons I’ve been less and less excited for games over the past 4-5 years is due to the missed calls inconsistent application of penalties, and rule changes. I’m sick of seeing the outcome of games be determined by the officials and not the players.

BUT...it is league wide and happens to every team, every game. I can’t stand the whining and crying. Several times immediately after the INT I brought up how the Rams got screwed in the live game thread, Mind you, this was before the offensive PI, and I didn’t get one response. Not a single, “yeah that was a bad call” or yeah “we for away with a big one there”...nothing.

As soon as we got screwed the tears started flowing, the officials were crooked, never want us to win, Goodell blah blah blah.

I think for that one. Yes, while technically a rule, it didn’t really affect the play. It’s one of those QB rules that were created for the pampered QBs. With the PI, it was an incredible play negated.

It's always the refs did us in. It's always we were a call away.
Bottom line: our defense stinks, but we have too many weapons to score just 17 points.

Ramsey is making contact too. This is why this play is never called a penalty..the rule says no contact by DB after 5yards. How can you call a push off on Gallup when Ramsey is laying his arm over Gallup's for 20 yards? You can't and they don't.... It was a BS call
