DC talking heads on Cowboy's website seemed to be calling out Dak

leadership is not defined as being the most liked individual. this is the part of dak's leadership i think needs work. be more of a get in their face kind of guy. don't coddle, punch. don't be afraid to chew someone out. let the other players know bad plays, missed assignments or poor route running won't be tolerated. stop with the popularity show.
So basically you want Dak to be head coach too? At this point what do we even need McCarthy for? He doesn't coach the defense or offense and now you want Dak to take his job.......

The truth is...

1) Dak didn’t make any mistakes.
2) He played well.
3) He did not make the difficult throws that were necessary to win the game. Orlovsky is right: On the fourth and three play, every Cowboy did what they were supposed to do. The Rams just did what they were supposed to do better. But, if Dak zips a pass that leads CeeDee, the Cowboys had a chance to be the team that did “what they were supposed to do better.”

Admittedly, it’s a difficult throw. It requires elite arm talent—the kind of arm talent you would give $40 million a year for. We have yet to see that kind of arm talent consistently from Dak.

And it really sucks because Dak has everything else you could possibly want in spades. I’ve never seen a Cowboys quarterback grasp the mental aspect as quickly as Dak. Not Aikman, not Romo. Dak is a natural leader.

But, in the end, it’s a couple plays that are often the difference.

Try be last pass to Gallup was on the money. Just catch it with no flag and we are in OT. Heck kick the FG instead of going for it and it’s OT.

Right, I quoted you. You started this thing rolling. I mean, how hard is this for you?

So yeah, he's never been a fan of the Cowboys. He's always been a fan of FSU and it doesn't surprise me that he sides with the FSU Corner.

Agree or don't, nobody cares. You are not going to find a bunch of support for this but by all means, bang your head against the wall until you concuss yourself over this deal.

I'll have fun watching it. Here, let me help you out and get that ball rolling.

:banghead:

LOL..............
Let me make myself clear.

My post wasnt generated to be debated by a bunch of
homers like yourself.

You CLEARLY have an agenda when it comes to Randy Moss, so yea sorry I dont need nor crave your support

Down 3 with Over 2 minutes left in the game with a timeout and the 2-minute warning at his disposal, this fool couldnt even get us past mid field :facepalm:

And I dont wanna hear about the pass to Gallup. The GOAT (Randy Moss) even admitted that was OPI.
You expected Randy Moss to say good things about the Cowboys?

Based on What? Your belief system. . . there are too many variables. . . Like knowing the Future.

1st. There is no way to know who the QB will be
2nd. There is no way to tell how they will perform.

You have the mentality of a battered wife.

You actually believe this team is so horrible. That we are devoid of talent. When the exact opposite is true. There is talent every where. Including defense.

Look around the league last week. QBs and Star wideouts lit it up. Situation this year have kept defenses from gelling. Cowboys struggled in the 1st half. Then made adjustments. They played very well against an offensive Guru that is made for the short game. Rams got off some nice runs. Again Cowboys adjusted.

So stop with the troupe that the Cowboys will crumble without Dak . . . its sad & pathetic. . . and to be honest I am tired of you and your like, bashing this team for no good reason.

Thankfully the END IS NEAR

EXACTLY...……….so keep what you got until you have something better. Dak wanted 4 years so give it to him. Not sure the issue. Its going to take a few years to find and groom one anyway.

Are you suggesting that we are going to miraculously form a top 5 defense and find the next Mahomes all in the next year or two if we dump Dak for nothing?

Sounds like a losing plan to me. Dak can go when we find someone better.

Or we could just build a defense. Which one is easier to you?

You expected Randy Moss to say good things about the Cowboys?
Aww poor Cowboys. They are being unfairly hated on. Boo freaking hoo

WHO CARES if he doesnt like the Cowboys

Grow the hell up. He admitted AJ Green pushed off as well.

Sure people can. No one is demanding he get paid elite money people just want him to get signed. Its the Kirk Cousins and Jimmy G argument. People thought they got "elite" money until 2 years later they realized 28 million was going to turn into 35 million. There's some context here on these deals.

Why is it either or? Why can't you want him to get re-signed and admit he wasn't the sole reason they lost on Sunday? That is the argument isn't it? Him and Jaylon have become the scapegoats despite everyone admitting McCarthy sucked......this is why I say money is irrelevant.....is Mahomes or Russell Wilson the same players with crappy coaching? If you say yes then ok. I can understand the stance. I just don't think that's the case.

I never he said he was the sole reason we lost but yes, people this year and last, have and will absolutely give him passes for games where he didn't play well, like Sunday night. And those same people will claim he deserves to be paid elite QB money like Mahomes and Watson.

Are you now blaming McCarthy for Dak not playing well Sunday night? And yes, Jaylon Smith did not play well Sunday night either. You don't have to go out and hunt for excuses, which you seem to be doing, for not great play. It's OK to admit that our players sometimes don't play well.

I believe MM put Dak in a Position to "Show me the money" . . . and poor Dakie Pooh fell flat on his face.

Trying to jettison Dak will be very controversial and a couple more performances like this could make the transition easier.

Makes you wonder about the whole IR conspiracyo_O. As soon as I heard this. . . . I was like . . . Dak is Done. . . But not even I thought it would be this bad.

If Dak was under mind by Big Mike. . . It would be a stroke of genius. He can be rid of the traveling soap opera Dak has become. Those whonwere loyal in the local media are now highly critical. If he fails miserably against Seattle & Atlanta, and Elliott will not be able to bail him out against those teams. Dak will be carrying a clipboard by game 4

Or Collins on IR is legit then it was just written in the STARS for the Cowboys to be rid of this Fraud early, so that we may enjoy a competitive this season. There's an extra wild card this year. So 9-7 is all that is needed to get a ticket to the party.

Reality says different. Dak drove them down for the tying FG then threw the clutch winning bomb. Is it his fault MM blew the FG then the ref blew the call? Sometimes you have valid points. This definitely isn't one of them.

So basically you want Dak to be head coach too? At this point what do we even need McCarthy for? He doesn't coach the defense or offense and now you want Dak to take his job.......
roger and troy got in players faces. neither was the coach. sorry if you are unable to see the distinction. i have no trouble with the words coming out of your mouth being yours. but please, don't try and make them mine.

Now the league has figured him out.....took the league 3 years lol....you guys say some of the most outlandish **** just to support your disdain for this guy its sickening.
What are you talking about? The last good year Dak had was his rookie year

I never he said he was the sole reason we lost but yes, people this year and last, have and will absolutely give him passes for games where he didn't play well, like Sunday night. And those same people will claim he deserves to be paid elite QB money like Mahomes and Watson.

Ehh....I mean if saying he's not the sole reason for the loss is giving him passes than that's one thing but let's don't be naive here. On this website you have those who ride it out with Dak and those who don't. You have those who try and rile up the site by blaming Dak solely for losses and anytime you bring up anyone else its "making excuses" for Dak. Its just a big cycle over and over again lol. There's no group of people who are going out of there way to say everyone sucks but Dak aside from that one poster on this site who's clearly trolling.

And I have no issue admitting our "players" don't play well at times. The issue you guys have is when I and others don't blame him solely.

And I can sit here and blame McCarthy for a crappy coaching effort without using him as a excuse for Dak's play it is possible. I've seen bad Dak performances before....Jets, Pats, etc. last year. That was not one of them on Sunday. I wouldn't say he did anything for us to win but he surely didn't cost us the game either.

I was just stating the fact about selective listening to the talking heads. You turned in to a 5 year old. Looks like it is you who needs some growing up to do.

Understood but its 2020.....the days of Roger and Aikman are over. These players are a different make up then that era. You can yell all you want but at the end of the day you know you have to make plays. They won 13 games without yelling let's don't use that as a excuse for why they won 8 games last year and lost on Sunday.

That's him though. A child. HE doesn't get his way then he starts crying.....too busy trying to be the next Risen.

So.......... at what point do you start making yourself clear?

As to Moss, I do. I do not desire to ride his jock so the pin that comes along with that, you can keep it. Oh, but it does look good on you.

But you do know the Rams didn't punt the football until the 3rd quarter though right? Did it not say that in the box score?

So now it matters WHEN they punted, ok got it.

1st Half: Rams: 0 Punts Cowboys: 1 punt
2nd Half: Rams 3 Punts 1 TO Cowboys: 3 Punts

Don't know what you are trying to prove now besides being a Giant D!ck.

But the defense made adjustments. It has already been proven to you that the defense got better in the 2nd half.

peer pressure hurts more than any other kind of criticism. we are more inclined to want to perform for our "brothers in arms" than anyone else. but that's just my thoughts on the subject.
