I’d like to play down the importance of this game in the overall aspect of the season. But I just read a great post in another thread which sparked this thought.

Isn’t this this the type of game we expect this new coaching hire to make a difference?

We brought in a proven HC to lead us over the hump. When does the hump begin? And when do we begin pressing for better results?

I’d agree normally except 1-2 looks like it will be 1st place in worst division in the league. 7 or 8 wins could win this division.

But I don’t even remotely think this is a must win.....not even close.
9-7 or 8-8 win our division
Plus theres an extra playoff team this year, so stats are different

Just beat Cleveland (not a gimme) next week and we’re backup to Near 50-50 after just one week
