From what I see every team playing a top qb is getting lit up for 30 plus. Saints, Packers, Bills (we played Goff much better than Buffalo or Philly), Chicago (they let Ryan light them up WITHOUT Julio. Seattle gets lit up by every good offense. Philly got lit up by Dwayne Haskins lol. Only team that seems to be playing consistently good is Baltimore. So yeah we are bad, but so is everyone else.

Defense is 25th in yards allowed, 30th in points allowed, 30th in takeaways - yes, it's that bad.

It’s more along the lines of HOW they’re getting beat. Opposing pass catchers are running wide open, and defenders don’t know what their assignments are.

It would be different if opposing QBs were consistently making perfect throws. Instead, we’re giving up touchdowns where there’s not a Cowboy with 10 yards.

I don’t think Tank has been as bad as people like to complain. Pass rushers can still disrupt a play without getting a sack. Jaylon is awful though.

Injuries are a thing, and it looks like the players left are getting lost in what they should be doing.

The place is as quick to make excuses for the defense as it is to blame the QB for everything.
What other team played 3 pro bowl quarterbacks who have done better? Im just saying.

to this point...yes.
but some of it is fixable.
some of it not til the draft and f/a.
but there was some better stuff on that side of the ball yesterday...so there's hope.

Yes, the defense is that bad. It's true they have face 2 of the better QBs in the league and Goff played well against them but I this defense has not strengths anywhere. They don't play the run well. They don't cover well. They don't rush the passer well. They still get no take-aways. Is there anything they do well? They have some injuries, but not on the DL. Not at safety. LB and CB are banged up but they weren't playing well when there were no injuries.

I expect they will get better as the DC figures out how best to use the players he has but right now this defense is putrid.

I like to look at positives, but our defense sucks.
