I wont say mccarthy sucks or doesn't suck, but I will say its only right to give a super bowl winning coach more than four games before we make that conclusion.

We saw his ceiling. I never said Garrett was a horrible coach. He was medicore, and that's worse. Medicore allowed him to stick around for far too long. We can lament the MM hire all day long, but that doesn't mean giving Garrett his walking papers was wrong.

People like to complain, but rarely answer "Compared to what?"

We knew there would be transition pains with Nolan. And some guys we rely on kind of stink. Let's give him a chance to make some changes. He did already at S.

The debacle this week should prompt more changes. That's one thing I like about McCarthy. We've seen changes, and fairly quickly.

Some obvious changes.

Less Crawford, more Gallimore.
Get another LB in rotation so Jaylon and Thomas aren't playing 100%.

Hope the DBs get healthy. Use ASmith less on run defense where he's a liability.
LVE, Lee, and Gregory coming soon.

The defense should improve.

The Giants have way more talent on offense than the Jets and the Jets are averaging 16 points per game

By the way, the same Giants team last season under Shurmur, averaged 21 points per game
