2 best years of zeke=playoffs 2 years he was out or not being utilized enough =no playoffs

this year Zeke stats string KM goes back to pass happy=1-3

I have a problem with how we team build in general..

We build the team in some watered down 90s Cowboys type of way.

not just 14-18 but most were hey here run into the line and get the ball back to dak ..no intent to design and use the run game...its like Dak and KM have side deal when dak gets 150mil guaranteed KM gets 10%

I like Zak from SOS he's a smart guy and knows football. I don't love some of his Cowboys takes I don't think he watches us enough, but a lot of what he says is very spot on sometimes.

But this is a trend that’s gone on for awhile and it’s not just this season.

We have 1 playoff win in 4 years and I don’t see this roster being as good as it was anytime soon.

We’ve only won 6 of our last 17 games. We just suck and Dak and Zeke aren’t changing games.

The Bears had 14 points through 3 quarters against the Bucs on Thursday night. They even threw an interception that gave the Bucs the ball at midfield resulting in a TD off of turnover. They only needed 6 points in the 4th to win the game.

For some reason many believe this team’s offense should click like Tecmo Bowl where we just constantly slice through defenses like they are melted butter. It’s not normal.

When your up 14-7 and the opposing team goes in to score 31 unanswered points. Yes I expect my offense to at least answer. To put some points on the board. Not wait till it’s 38-14 to move the ball.

Well of course. If the offense stalls out for several drives the game is going to get away from us.

Yes.. This is a very simple way at looking at this and that’s not how someone like me looks at it..

I think most fans think... Zeke good pay Zeke..

Dak good pay Dak..

Defense bad fix defense..

But there are so many dynamics to all of this and we are putting all of our money in one area and wondering why the other area sucks.


Paying runningbacks is just stupid imo.

Paying QBs, even the truly elite guys, is not equaling success

The Cowboys best chance going forward is to get rid of some of these guys IMO and hopefully get something for them in a trade but just getting cap space would allow us to rebuild this team.

The same premise I think can be applied to the offense. They aren’t consistent... and have been a reason we’ve gone down in games as well

I get it but the reality is the offense can’t afford to stall out for a few drives. The Chiefs have scored 6 points in the first half the past 2 games. They won both of them. We would have already been blown out and in garage time. We need to score about 10 points per quarter, other teams don’t but we do.

While I don't necessarily agree, I don't have a problem with anyone saying we should not pay either or both but his reasoning, particularly on Dak is stupid. You can "what if" guys like Aikman out of the Hall of Fame if you try hard enough and it's ironic to now say that people like to quote Dak's superior yardage and TD type stats as if it overrates him when after his first couple of years all people did was quote his inferior yardage and YD type stats to say it prove he wasn't any good.
