I'm not one that believes Dak should get a 35m a year contract, but Dalton is not an upgrade. That terrible toss to Cooper should have been a pick 6 if the corner could catch.

You could also tell on one drive they were protecting Dalton by calling screens and runs. Nothing down the middle of the field. The last two passes were nice. But you can tell he was not comfortable.

I realize he was thrown into the fire. So I'll give the guy a chance.

I hope Dalton can come in and help this team win. Dalton will need to step up and take charge of the team and it will fall to Moore to put in plays that better suite Dalton. My big concern with Dalton is he is playing behind a makeshift OL and lacks mobility. These are the cards the Cowboys have been dealt and they need Dalton to go out and get it done. As for Dak I expect a full recovery and expect him to be back leading this team next season

A QB comes in cold and from lack of time from an odd off season. And to come in cold after a devastating injury, and the entire eyes of the world is now upon you.
Dang right they will be a little conservative at first. Get him comfortable being out there, a few safe plays. Nothing wrong with that.
