Seeing Dalton go on a tear and ripping up the league and leading Dallas to a playoff win or two would be almost enough to compensate for the misery of the year 2020. If it happens.

No, Hill's injury didn't have the same impact. Dak's injury was much more visually shocking. Plus, she's followed Dak's story to a greater degree...as have I. He's been through a lot that both of us personally identify with. So, it had a bigger impact. You're being intentionally argumentative. Who are you to tell me how to run my life? You don't know me. You don't know where I'm from or what I've done. I've absolutely had my feelings and emotions impact how I've lived my life. It helped me escape homelessness. It helped me make it through college. It made me an effective teacher. My feelings made me a better administrator. They allowed me to treat people with empathy. There's no question my feelings made me a better superintendent. My feelings made me effective at what I chose to do with my life.

You're a piece of work. I'm done with you.
I never told you how to run your life. You have to stop exaggerating because you don't like what I posted. I'm not being intentionally anything I'm just trying to see if you're consistent but like most (even myself at times) you're not. I never claimed to know you so I don't get the point of mentioning that. I'm going by your post in this thread obviously. If I'm a piece of work because you have a disagreement with me you're not far off yourself but online where we can easily talk reckless and hide I'm not surprised. People just don't want any pushback to their pov and that's so sad to live in a bubble.

This is a new era, which I don’t care for, where people openly insults and disrespects our armed service members and other public servants. If you meant no harm, I apologize.
He was in the Army. Beetle is a comic character in the Army. It was a simple play on his screen name, the same way I called you Kid due to your avatar. Just a joke. Didn't mean to offense someone's service. I apologize if I offended @USArmyVet ,but you are right, this is 2020.

I have always said that Dallas could find another QB that could do just as well, if not better, when surrounded by the talent that the team has had. Overpaying Dak will ruin the next few years. Dak is not a great QB and he don’t have any special characteristics that can’t be found in a cheaper QB. I fully expect Dalton to play very well this season and I expect that he will be more consistent, have better pocket presence, read defenses better and actually be able to throw WRs open. Dalton will not put up the ridiculous stats like Dak, but those stats have not translated into wins, so those stats are useless .
We are going to find out. There is not chance we win the SB with Dalton so if the primary goal is just to go cheap at the QB position all the time then we should just root for Jerry to spend just enough to get over the salary cap minimum and praise how much profit he can make. Outside of Martin, there is nobody on the team worth their salary so there is a ton of opportunity to cut salary and get crappy play in exchange for salary cap space that will surely go to waste.

Makes no difference at all to the people who have flooded this board message boards with hate since 2016 when Dak was only $465k per year. This money angle that has recently started to be played by these people is dishonest. Their hate had absolutely nothing to to money whatsoever so you guys needs to quit bringing this BS up.
You are so far out in left field its nuts. The NUMBER 1 critique of Dak was about this contract. i said the entire time I like him, but not for 40 million per year.

sorry, you need to get a clue. Get over the salary cap Minimum? When are we not right up to the cap max? You think Jerry worries about profits at this point in his life??? bahahahahahah..... He goes to bed at night, sleeps for 8 hours and wakes up worth about 2 million more than the previous day. You think someone like that is losing sleep or time worrying about profit? you must be broke.

How so? i call out BS when I see it. Nobody spends more money on their team than Jerry and people still say he pinches pennies to maximize his profits... thats just flat out incorrect. Anyone seen the Star? You think that was done on the cheap?

and any point you ever tried to make in regards to dak just went out the window. Because you admit as much as you will be anti dalton you were pro Dak. Ive been a fan for 42 years, I root for my TEAM, and try to be objective, always. Exactly what I did with Dak.

I mean if his points on Dak go out the window because you can apply them to any QB...doesn't that in turn mean your points about any QB pretty much go out the window also?

im not sure what you are talking about. I said his comments will be lost because he just admitted he wont be OBJECTIVE with Dalton and we all know he was never OBJECTIVE with Dak.

you arent a sharp one are you? read your link, it is me being extremely objective and giving dak credit for improvement and establishing a relationship with cooper. Thanks, for the link, you made my point for me.
Dude, you finally had an objective take in one post in 2018, 2 years after Dak had been the QB. In this post you admit you have been a huge Dak critic and that you would try to look with different eyes. This directly proves you didn’t like Dak but were just concerned about money, like you tried to claim. The dishonesty is astounding.

And, BTW, your objectivity didn’t last long. You are a harsh critic of Dak. You also don’t have the same criticisms of other QBs, like Romo. In the post I quoted, you were talking about check downs. Guess what, there was a running joke on 3rd down that Witten would get a check down and come up short of the first down marker. His QB was Tony Romo when that perception was created. Checking down on 3rd down has been a staple of our offense for many years before Dak came along but for some reason you didn’t take issue with it when Romo was QB.

You don’t need to spin any longer. You have shown me that you are a liar. I won’t trust anything you say from this point forward. While I have often disagreed with you in the past, I at least thought you were being honest. Now I know.
