You are in cloud cookoo land my friend if you think this team finishes 3-13 in this division. We still have 5 divisional games so that's worst case scenario 3 wins straight off the hip there, more likely 4.
You are MASSIVELY overrating the drop off from Prescott to Dalton.
We will win 7, 8 or 9 games and the division - as we would have done with Prescott.
I agree.. I think this team will win 6 or 7 more games with Dalton at the helm. It will be look different but I think it can be done. Dak was covering up a lot of warts by bringing the team back from the defense bending over and taking it from behind from the other team's offense. He was also shaking off and running out of a lot of would be sacks. I don't think it would be fair to ask Dalton to do that so I think they have to adjust the gameplan (as they should have been doing anyway) to feature more Zeke and less dropping back. Keep the game close, keep the defense as fresh as you can and then let your playmakers win it for you in the 4th quarter. I think that formula can get us to 10 wins. But if the defense remains at the historically bad level it has been playing at, AND the coaches continue to think running a fastbreak offense is the way to overcome it, it will be more like 6 wins.
