Expect the opposite. Teams will stack the box and force the Red Rifle to beat them, and he will shred them with these WRs.
Nice rebuttal and an interesting point of view but the defense needs a lot of protection and Zeke is the answer.

Obviously, the RPO is no more. It's about giving him a pocket to throw from, working the clock, and using the run game.

Dalton likes quick throws early, and opening it up later.

No more hurry up. That is killing our defense.
Moore's misdirection offense can be ran with Dalton, and probably better with him at the helm It should produce an open WR, TE, or RB

Why is the RPO no more?

This logic is deeply flawed. We haven’t run the ball for two reasons. The depleted OL hasn’t been getting good push so we are under 4 YPC, and we have been behind multiple scores forcing us to pass more.

If we aren’t behind then we will see more balance, but will running be more effective than it has been? Maybe not, and we’ll end up pass more anyway.

Now that Dak is out for the season expect Zeke and Pollard to get a lot more touches like in the 25-30 range and believe me that will help that limp noodle defense.

Yep, expect the opposite. Turning to a stuttering run game behind this Oline wont work. It will just get us further behind with stalled drives and 2nd and 3rd and long.

Wanna bet? He isnt going anywhere behind this Oline. And no one fears Dalton. Zeke at 4 yards a clip isnt going to keep up with playing a QB better than Mahomes every week. Which is the QB rating the defense is allowing up to this point.

I agree. The offense is set up to play off what the defense gives. I expect defense's to stack the box like you mention and Cowboys pass out of it.

I do not think MM & Moorer are going to try and protect Dalton like he is some rookie QB that needs protection. He is a veteran QB with a good arm. No fear from coaches throwing the ball all around the field if teams allow them to

Dalton ran a lot of RPO at Cinn. He is not a statue back there. Clearly not a big runner, he only runs when he has to but RPO is not new or foreign to Dalton

Nope. Our defense will continue to give up 30-40 a game forcing us to be pass happy

If they can make the run game work that way, yes, get to a more balanced attack.
This is where Moore and MM and staff must excel in a game plan to take advantage of how a defense plays them.
If they stack the box, burn them with the pass, as we have the receivers to do so. as Andy is a very capable QB to take advantage.

If they then key on the receivers, hit them with the run game.
The key is how the OL plays, run blocking, pass protection. I expect a lot of blitzes as well. Especially from the cards, as jones is out, and he was their defense. Maybe some quick release passes to start the game and some designed roll outs. Dalto is still mobile enough to pull those plays off.

LOL...Good luck with all of that!

This offense will go according to how the Oline goes.

Zeke and our rushing attack has not been able to get going so far due to this Oline. With 2 inexperienced O-Tackles, a rookie Center and an average but struggling Left Guard, good luck with this task.

Opposing D-Coordinators know how weak our Oline is, so expect them to shut down Zeke our running attack while blanketing our WRs and constantly bringing the heat against Dalton.

Get ready. It just might get ugly.

Just throw the ball high in the air and let one of the receivers make a play ;)
