Excitement is already building ahead of the game. The old juices are flowing.
I'm happy if the team wins by whatever means. Whether it's because of the offense or defense - both would be ideal.Same driteria for Dak exists for Dalton. Stat padding.
No way, I have been told that Dak was better than Brady. No way does the red rifle compare to the greatness of Dak. They might even say, Dak comes first alphabetically over Dalton lol there is always some stupid stat they use to man crush on Dak. Dak has been good IMHO. He has improved allot since his rookie year. Personally I think Dalton should make better decisions than Dak because I thin Andy is smarter as a QB than Dak is. Dak has better arm talent slightly than Andy. But in this west coast style offense, I actually think Andy will flourish here. He gets the ball out quicker which I think is better, Ala Tom Brady. That is a huge benefit as our line is not that good. Ady might be the dink and dunk guy now that Dak used to be. But again, that may not be a bad thing. We will all get to see though. Most think Andy is trash. I think he is a good option for this style of offense.Same..
I think you and I look at players and evaluate them by what we see and don't follow the echo chamber of lazy opinions.
Andy Dalton is a good solid player. But the majority of people you see speaking about him had him labeled as the worst QB in the NFL.
I think a lot of Cowboys fans don't watch much football outside of Dallas so there is a group of people on here who can only relate Andy Dalton to guys like Matt Schaub and Brandon Weeden. I'd be shocked if we see that type of fall off from Dak to Dalton. I think Dak and Dalton are similar players and Dalton is going to get us to about the same place Dak would have. Maybe a game better or worse but right around the same spot.

Of course he will be.Yup. Dalton's 1st bad throw, let's see if he gets crucified.
The offense needs to consistently put solid drives together and chew up the clock even if they don't score points. Can he play defense?
Of course he will be.
However if they leave the edge or the middle wide open, Dalton has been known to run it in the end zone himself if nothing is downfield if he can get in untouched. If he gets hurt it won’t be from a planned run for him. QB’s who use their legs are always more vulnerable to injury. Most likely this means Dak will never be the same threat with his legs again.
Not for his first bad throw no.By you? Ok.
Not for his first bad throw no.
I won't even be on here during the game as it will be unbearable with Prescott fans making ridiculous comments throughout.
I will have a read on the forum after the game to filter through to the sensible posts and thoughts from the posters I respect after the game.
Both fans and haters will be unbearable. Be fair. Not for his first bad throw no.

I completely agree that any QB should be held accountable for their performance. If Dalton plays a bad game then I will dig him out afterwards with reasoned and justified constructive criticism as much as anyone else.I am a Cowboy fan, a fan of anyone who wears the star. If Prescott is gonna be held by a certain criteria, then all Cowboy QB's should be.

In the last game there were a few posters making ridiculous comments about Dalton. It was just embarrassing. I ignored them but there would be more come game day.
Oh my..You think being less mobile improves his reads?
He's been in the league for nearly a decade. His reads are what they are.
Shots are fired from both sides of the field and it's a dang shame.Nothing different from Dak posts.
I agree there have been some ridiculous and silly posts written about Prescott that went over the top. However a lot of comments were mostly objective the exception being some sarcastic comments that were tongue in cheek. Then again it's a message board so a bit of humour is allowed.Nothing different from Dak posts.
