Basically what I’ve been saying.. Dalton will get us Dak like results and he doesn’t need 40 million to do it.

This from a guy who creams his jeans at the mention of Carson Wentz. Also said there was no way the Lakers would win the NBA Championship.

He has zero credibility.

Oops, I meant to say the Cardinals -- they're all our enemies, so, who really cares? Anyway, here's hoping you enjoy seeing the Cowboys lose, assuming your fondest dreams come true! Enjoy the game, though. Whatever happens will likely work out for the best. I really believe that. :)

That all depends on what you think is the best. To me that getting as much help through the draft as possible. If you want to take it another step.........I would love to see what Dnucci can do and get him some PT.

This is the same idiot that after ONE PRESEASON half, said that Lamar Jackson was going to be a bust and that Rosen and Darnold were already franchise QBs.

Stop posting his *******.
Yes. He also has wet dreams about Sam Darnold

If I put you on the microphone 5 days a week 365 days a year and got your opinions for 3 hours a day you would have no credibility either.

Nobody would.

One of my biggest problems with Dak is not giving Dez opportunities to go up and bring down a football which started this Dez is a terrible route runner crap.

Michael Gallup gets to run about the same route tree Dez did and he doesn’t get very many 50/50 opportunities.
One trick pony. You can't just catch jump balls all of the time.

A "non difference maker". LOL

You obviously dont know what a difference maker is then.

And so moving away from mediocrity is getting rid of your top 7 QB and drafting a rookie? Or what.........signing Dalton to be your QB for cheap? Yah, ok guru.

Dak was getting paid 1 million per year for 4 years prior to this one. How come we werent winning SB genius?

Yes... I would rather be the worst team in football than mediocre.

I would rather be in the Jets position to draft Trevor Lawrence than the Cowboys position of drafting some rookie that we act like is going to have a huge impact after all of the FA scrubs we sign.

Be great or be terrible but don't be in the middle.

So that you can pray that Lawrence will turn out to be as good as Dak one day? And then what? When Lawrence is losing because of the worst defense in the NFL you are going to blame him for it and let him walk? Start all over again?

The NFL is won and lost on draft day, not the free agent period. Football 101.

But just so you realize..................no chance of drafting Lawrence if we win the NFC East. If you want Lawrence, we need to lose.

I'd like to see that myself, if push comes to shove! We'll have to wait a while before it's likely, though. We'll likely get enough losses to have a successful draft, unless I've missed my guess. I'd just like to beat a decent team for once and not be bummed by the loss. Anything can occur, since we're at home.

Im more concerned with fixing out defense. Thats not happening with the 20th pick.

This is a brain dead take. First of all I have screamed to the loss of my voice at how often we DON'T hand the ball to Zeke in the red zone. That is exactly what we SHOULD do inside the 10. I would bet a mortgage payment that there are only a handful of defenses in the league that can stop Zeke from getting 10 yards on 4 carries. Whenever we get there I immediately start screaming "give it to Zeke 4 times" at the TV. Secondly running the ball into the end zone counts exactly the same number of points as throwing it and is far and away the safer play. If you have a QB who can run it in it is simply the smarter thing to do. You may also have noticed that this team is averaging over 30 points per game over the past two seasons doing it this way. So why the hell would they go to higher risk plays in the red zone? To appease internet "experts." This is yet another example of people wanting it to look a certain way rather than simply appreciating that the team has been top 3 in scoring the last two years. If the defense was even average this year this team would be 5-0. If you can't see that it's because you simply don't want to.

Dak struggles mightily with the quick hitters in traffic which is why we never see those plays. It limits the offense. I know it's tough for some to see and understand that because it doesn't show up in that stats.

It's not a question of wanting it to look a certain way. It is what it is. Hand it to Zeke, throw it to Zeke, throw one up in the corner, QB draw, trick play. That's what we see.

You seem to be arguing that the inability of a QB to reasonably be able to throw all the routes does not hinder the offense. That seems like a brain dead take to me. I guess having to break out the Philly Special against the 0-5 Giants makes it ok. Covers up for it, if you will.

Maybe Lawrence will win rookie of the year like Dak? Go 13-3 and win 11 games in a row like Dak?

Well do the math genius. Dak was scoring 37 points a week with a bad Oline, Zeke doing little, and the worst defense in NFL history. And we were one play away from winning every game we lost.

So you give Dak even an average defense and this team is 5-0 right now.

I used to think Dak needed a great Oline. He has proven he doesnt. Zeke has proven that he does.

It's to bad that Dak is gone...but, keep crying about him until next season, your very good at it. smh

If we sign Dak we're going to be a crappier version of Seattle.

IF we somehow landed Lawrence we would have 5 years of cheap QB play, we can get out of some of these contracts after 2021, and we would be ready to compete for a Superbowl in 2022.

Signing Dak I think we'll just be stuck with this mediocre team for awhile and the Zeke windows closes a little more every year.

Oh yah................that limited offense averaging 37 points a game with Dak. So "limited". LOL

Zeke here, Zeke there, trick play? LOL

You have cornered the market on stupid.

I'm thinking it'll be more like the 16th to 17th or so but we'll see. Will McClay and MM will need another fortuitous draft day.

Lawrence has the upside to be a difference maker at his position. A true playmaker at his position.

Dak is a guy that gets carried by others.

Lawrence has the upside to carry.

Thats what you see, there are plenty of Professional scouts that don't see what you see, nothing wrong with that. Again I saw a QB who was playing at a high level with a great WR core but everything else on the team is well below expectations. And again its funny how anyone who thinks Dak is bad has to "discredit" stats because it burries thier take so bad.... Hammer him on turnovers this year because that is a real thing but everything else is just an opinion not fact.

Dak was doing nothing until games got out of hand and he started just doing what NFL QB's do against prevent defenses like Wentz saw yesterday against Baltimore.
