If you look at my cheat sheet I acknowledged that I said that. Dalton and Dak would get similar results.

Dalton was worse in the 2nd half then I expected him to be.

Watching that game last night i'm thinking.. Wow... Kyler Murray can impact a game better than anyone we have. We need a spark like that.

We get our QB play from the Kirk Cousins section.

After one game under those circumstances. . . no, we can hold off judgement for a few more weeks.

More important then coaching and ability is momentum . . . there were 5 momentum killing plays. It is what it is but I saw the fight in Dalton.

As far as the defense, they were hung out to dry Worley has to go.

Arizona passing game was contained except for the big play to Kirk. It was the speed of Murray which gave the Cowboys trouble and I doubt see another QB as quick as Murray on the scheduale.

I am still waiting to see how they perform with a lead against a good team.

ps Cooper has been outstanding. He would be a top 3 WR in the league with an elite QB.

What makes a WR top 3 is a lot of yardage and TDs. Before last night there was no shortage of yardage and TD's to go around, but it was spread between Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, Schultz, Wilson and Zeke. So it wasn't a QB problem that kept him from being top 3, it was sharing the load with a lot of weapons.

People misconstrue history all the time to better conform with their implicit and explicit biases. Byron got rocked damn near every game we lost on this and other boards I was on. All of us are guilty of this.

The game unfolded on him poorly. Everytime in the first half when we were driving something catastrophic happened that was not on him.
