Funny how theres so much trade Gallup talk when he had arguably the biggest catch in one win, and definitely the two biggest catches in the other.

If the refs weren't blind that may have been the case in the opener.

Two questions:

1. Why are people so obsessed w/ the CB position? I truly don't get it. CB's are useless if you don't get pressure.

2. How in the world do people not know that most CB's are done around the age of 30? Everyone knows RB's generally don't last long, how do they not know that CB's don't last much longer?

Patriots need WR help and are looking to trade their star corner:omg:
Absolutely not Gallup, but Cooper instead. Consider these facts. First, Lamb fell into their laps after Cooper re-signed.

Second, Gallup is signed through 2021 to a bargain-basement rookie deal.
Third, Wilson is pretty darn good. And fourth, with Dak gone for the rest of the season, Cooper becomes a luxury the Cowboys don’t need. BOOM!

I think people are currently obsessed with it because our corners are straight up watching guys run by them.

I've also heard that when Byron Jones hasn't been injured that the Dolphins play pretty good defense. When he's out they don't.

Gallup is on the short list of players I'm definitely NOT trading.

Well, he is no good to us the rest of this lost season and he becomes a free agent after next season. You think we are signing another expensive WR to pair with Amari and still sign Dak and rebuild the defense?

Gallup is one of the few tradeable chips we have who could land us a decent draft pick.

Would not trade Gallup .. still on his rookie deal until the end of 2021.

and based on how Cooper's contract is structured. You can get away from his BIG contract after 2021. (ie. cut or trade him with net cap savings )

Im fine with trading for players, but if doing so we need to target players under 28 and with multiple years left on their contracts.
And those players tend to be expensive and not worth a crap the majority of the time.

Dumb. You people really think Gallup is in coopers class. Part of me hopes cooper misses a month so Gallup can get the top corner every week. Then you’ll all see.
I'm one of the few that defend him around here. I'm looking at his contract and trying to maximize any spending potential on defense. Don't be so quick.

So you want to trade an inexpensive 1A WR for a 30-year overpaid CB that is on the decline?

How about NO
Cooper and lamb are better. I’d take Gilmore coming off a def player of the year season. Plus he can groom your young corner.
