Good one. A lot of fans described as Dak Haters are actually fans that dont agree with the position that the Cowboys just give Dak whatever he wanted.

If we feel we cant afford the money that Dak wants he's got the right to get that money money somewhere else. That's not 'disrespect' it's business. when negotiating contracts its about offer and acceptance.

Yes and too bad many on here do that understand business, especially that the NFL is a different type of business.
That goes for the lovers and the haters and all the ones in between.

Whatever happens, happens, I don't get caught up in it. Until it happens. Then I still say, well it happened.
Can't do anything about it. Except you still root for the team regardless. Does nothing to whine over contracts except raise the blood pressure.

I agree with every word. There are a number of ways this can go. If Dak just wants most money we cant compete with teams like the Colts, if he wants 3 years we wont be able the afford him and to improve (i acknowledge CAP deniers, however, they can never give specifics).

The wild card that we didnt have heading into the season is the potential to draft in the top 5 which enhances chances of drafting a QB (which we HAVE to do if Dak hasnt signed by then).
We know what’s going to happen because it just happened with Romo. The Cowboys lose to RG3 after 3 straight seasons of 8-8. We all knew we needed to rebuild but the Joneses decided to extend an old Romo. Dak gets all the heat and keeps the pressure off of the Jones family so they can continue to fill their bank accounts. This season is the perfect storm for a quick and cost effective rebuild. Imagine at the end 2021 we have a young stud 2nd year quarterback we can move on from Zeke and Jaylon’s contracts. Maybe trade Cooper and get another draft pick. Yes the Joneses would have to be patient and hope the draft picks pan out but it would be worth it if we can make Dak our Herschel Walker.

QB is just one of the problems we have on this team. It is so screwed up now, it's going to take years to fix if it can be fixed. Jerry will not pay Dak, he wants another FA QB like Romo who
will be cheap while they try and rebuild the whole team. If they tank this season, just maybe they can get their next Aikman to find Jerry some glory.

How is offering a 35 million dollar a year contract for 4 years and then saying well If that doesn’t work take 32 million this year and we will make it work next year.

The stupidity of saying he’s been disrespected is off the charts

Dak was treated unfairly in this situation. He didn't get what he wanted or what he felt he deserved.

Then he goes out there and breaks his ankle/foot. We don't deserve him.

My advice to him would be to run far far away from this team. He wasn't treated right.

Then half of the fan base are full of haters, who couldn't see his greatness and disrespected him, like.... Me, Pappy, Captain-Crash, Risen, Willie ECT ECT

We don't deserve him. We were ungrateful

Dak just leave and never turn back. Go get your payday from another team worthy.

Welp, I guess we have to draft a QB guys.

Like or not winning a superbowl in Dallas is the measuring stick. Those QB's that fail to win a SB in Dallas are not viewed as the leagues best.

Long time fans want the trophy then you can get paid. I could care less about stats, other than W's stats and W's should equal $$$$.

‘Deserved’ got nothing to do with it.
Dak was not ‘disrespected.’
Dak beat out Romo for the job and was given every opportunity and chance to succeed.
Dak was offered a fair contract but he turned it down.
Dak does not run as much as he should. Dak is not a pocket passer.
Dak got hurt against the Rams last year and it cost the team the game the following week against Philly if I remember correctly.
Dak’s injury this year looks like a non-contact injury made worse by the tackle. There was a video breakdown by a doctor posted here showing he severely sprained or broke his ankle before contact.

I like Dak as a player but if he wants to leave for an extra few million, then so be it. He has had plenty of tools to get the job done but failed to deliver. If $35M per year + $10M per year in endorsements is not enough, then bye. Take Zeke, Jaylon Smith, and Lawrence with you.

Don’t care any more about greedy players.

And no team out there is paying Dak more than the Cowboys offered. No team. Especially with a cap dropping to $175M next year and maybe more the following year.

Agree with everything other than other teams being able to offer more.

As I see it: Jaguars, Colts, Patriots, Team with No Name all have need at QB and more CAP space than us.

Assuming the Jets are taking Lawrence and that Jags are the only realistic team to get a top 5 pick there are a number of potential suitors for Dak.

Im sure France saw this....have a feeling he just wants the highest deal regardless.

Its easier to take Pappy dog out of the equation put him on ignore and converse with normal fans that would like to see us have a quality QB and understand it will cost market value

My problem has always been the market value and what we'll be getting for it. If I'm in the market for a Corvette I want a Corvette, not a Camaro at or near the same price. Both nice cars, but I'd be paying to be at a disadvantage.

Incorrect. It is extremely simple to differentiate Dak haters from people who just believe he shouldn’t get paid so much.

Here is a simple test. Take contract out of equation and then ask yourself, do I typically agree or disagree with Pappydog’s posts? If yes, you’re a Dak hater. If not, you’re probably not a Dak hater.
The word "Hater" says it all about your mind-set concerning Dak.
See what you cannot understand due to your personal life inhibitions is that we don't hate Dak we just feel he isn't worthy of having this Job.
But like I said that's an airplane over your head isn't it now.....

It doesn't matter which one you have if you don't have the gas to run it.

I suppose the Corvette looks better on the drive, but that's not the main point in having it.

If by being mistreated, you mean getting paid over $30 million for less than a half season's work? Only in America from fat lazy fans would you get an argument like that!

Remember the good old days when we didn't know much about salaries and contracts? Or cared?
Just watched whatever was on the local TV station and cheered on the team. Maybe checked the next day's newspapers.

I am a Dak Fan and he is considered a top 10 quarterback in the NFL. Other teams will also pay him more then 35 million a year to be their quarterback. I am a Cowboys fan first. With that said if we finish 4-12 or worse we should blow the team up. We have had 5 years with most of these guys and ironically besides the receivers, Dak is the only player that is getting better. I think there are 5 quality quarterbacks that have to be considered in this draft. Lawrence, Fields, Trask, Lance, and Wilson. The scouting staff needs to be looking at these guys today. I would tag Dak and trade him because he will be the top free agent on the market. We would get more draft picks with the Dak trade and have 35+ million free agent money. We could have a quick rebuild because the NFC East is so bad.
I dont think they can trade dak, he is a FA, all they can do is tag him or let him walk.
