Why is the defense much better the past 2 games?

Trust in the home grown talent? Gallimore/Gregory, etc.? It's just better if the front office doesn't sign ANY Free Agents. Let the people you draft play. Homegrown talent is always the best bet unless you need "ONE" guy. We are far from that.

Run defense much better. I think DL is playing better with Poe gone.

Because we played 2 teams in the bottom ten of the league and got away with 2 huge PI’s and a face mask on a critical 4th and 1. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Lots of factors and most of them have already been said. I do think Sean Lee's presence is huge. The organization would be stupid if they didn't keep him on the staff when he retires. He's the smartest man on the field/sideline at any given time.

At least Poe was pretty good at one point in his career. Worley has always sucked.
