I told you way back he wasn't going to get a long term deal and TAG.
And yes I'm telling now once again Dak is toast come the Spring!!!
Be so kind as follow him to his new team fan forum where you can go gooouuu gaaaaa gooouu gaaahhhhh for Dak every Sunday!

dak is gone by the end of year ?
I went back and watched the youtube highlight video of dak's play this year. Let me tell you he was way better than i thought. I was originally against bringing him back, but now i'm on board. The way the team rallied around him as well was awesome to see. Question is whether we franchise him or not and how his contract would look. Maybe dak takes a little less money now for the financial security? We all know he tried to negotiate his own deal last minute.

We can be great next year with a good offseason. I think we have some foundational players on d. Lawrence, LVE, Awuzie, Diggs. Bring back roll players like gregory and aldon. We need a good defensive draft next year.

Dak is amazing, nobody can argue otherwise .

just as you post...
The only quesiton is , is he worth 45 million .

I'm a Dak fan ... but not at $41 mil.

We still need a team around him.

That isn’t Dak’s fault. The guy has been playing for peanuts for 4 years and was the lowest paid QB in football. The FO screwed this thing up. Could have had him for 28 two years ago. Now they gotta pay. Be a fan, don’t blame Dak.

even if we lost out we would not have a shot at either QB, not a shot. The Jets and Jags will win the lottery for those two...if it wasn't today we would stumble and win a couple of others putting the Washington team or Giants ahead of us as well. Both would draft one of those qb's

You understand it is in Dak's best interest to take the tag next year. It forces jerry to overpay and puts him in a bad spot. I'd like dak to sign long term but if we don't pay someone else will and he only seems to care about money.

If Dak takes less money, will Jerry Jones give discounts to the fans who want to see the games? Will Jerry Jones give discounts on merchandise purchases? Heck no. He will waste it on million-dollar yachts. Owners get a pass while players are seen as a greedy. So many people need to wake up and quit falling for the okey-doke.

This team was bad and a bad front office and it didn't ruin Dak or Romo.......

I've been critical of both qbs in the past. But in all fairness, Dallas front office's horrible pics on defense is what limited the success of both QBs. Too much pressure on them since the defense could ever stop anyone consistently.

With this win, the race for Trevor Lawrence is over.

Still in play for Justin Fields, but it's a pretty huge longshot.

Dalton is gonna have to compete for the backup job vs Gilbert next year. I personally think Gilbert's loss to the Steelers is more impressive than Dalton's merely decent win over the Vikings.

Sorry, crybabies

Dalton was awful today.

and yep.......top 2 pick is toast.

For all the doom merchants who think that it's not possible to draft a starting QB anymore, it looks like there are at least 3 good QBs in this years rookie class.
