I am from the old school $*** or get off the pot club. If they win 5 of 6 or even 4 of 6, win the East and play respectable in the playoffs, I think that will good momentum for this team and these coaches for next year. BUT if they are going to go 2-4 down the stretch and not win the division, I will be pissed that they screwed up their draft spot. So keep winning these winnable games coming up and play toe to toe with Baltimore and lets see what happens.

The Cowboys will still end up with a solid draft pick if they don't win the division but at least a couple of more wins puts an end to the Tank for Lawerence threads lol.

Personally I'm not into Tank for Trevor, but I would like to see us get the best pick for LT, or almost anything on defense rather than watch the top 5 picks of every round go to teams like the eagles, giants and Commanders.
It'll be interesting to watch people's reactions to the draft picks next spring if those teams pick ahead of us.

Always...but....this team isn’t winning a SB this year and a top five pick is a win as well imo. A new elite T, G, LB, etc etc...however felt pretty darn good yesterday and it was awesome watching this team put together four good quarters of football together.

Agreed. I also agree it felt good watching the W yesterday, but our defense still needs some serious help from the draft. It was great beating the Vikes, but it's going to take more talent than that to beat the top teams, and our defense doesn't have it.

This draft has very few blue chip players. With the injury to Burrow, the Bengals are not winning another game. They will draft Sewell. The top 3 draft positions are set. It is what it is. We win 6 games we are the division champs.

Any TEs in the top 5? You gave me Gregory Ellis flashbacks who was also a great player just not "him" that we all wanted, etc.

All that said, Surtain sounds good to pair with Diggs.

Players and coaches don't give a hoot about draft position. They're worried about their own jobs, which aren't helped by stinking up the joint.

That said, let me know when what you root for from your couch has any bearing whatsoever on the outcome of the game. You can enjoy a win or cry about it - the result won't change.

Exactly. If anyone actually believes the players and coaching staff would deliberately try to lose they're outside of their minds. Especially when a coaching staff comes in their first year. The idea they would tank when their job is on the line makes zero sense. Not to mention players that either won't be playing next year at all or for this team.

That's exactly what they will try to do. Which I doubt they can this year. If they did, however, it would be a successful season in Jerrys own little world. Even if they were 5-11, some how win the division, and then loose by 30 in the playoffs.

It's an asterisk season anyway.. The best to get out of it (given the circumstances and clearly not being competitive for the big prize) is to get as high a draft pick as possible

Whoever wins anything in this season (division, conference, SB) it will come with an asterisk next to it due to the coronavirus issue.
