Seems a bit early for Farley for me but IMO he is the best CB prospect in the draft. I'd probably take Parsons over him if we can't trade back but I could get on board with Farley. There's a little risk with him only having 1 great year and not being tested like a Surtain, but his ceiling is incredibly high.

Farley reminds me of a player we once had in MO. I would pass on him he is a good players but he is injury prone and we already have to many of that kind of player on the team.
I love Farley. He has everything it takes to be a stud CB in the NFL. I hate the idea of taking a guy in the top-10 who's coming off an ACL tear though, and he has a history of back issues too. IMO picking BPA becomes more important when you pick near the top and unfortunately this is a horrible year to be needing defense. If we can't have Sewell, which player would impact this team the most? Parsons? Surtain? No one wants to take a TE in the first, much less in the first third of day one, but what if Pitts is Travis Kelce? I'm not saying he should be the guy, but damn.

This is exactly what I'm struggling with...I started another thread on creating some dialogue around Chase just bc I hate the idea of overreaching on need and you can't guarantee you'll get a trade partner that will dance. You have to hit in the top 7 ish.

I love Farley too...but your concerns are valid.

The Laws of Dallas.

Any time we pick early, the draft isn’t top heavy.

Any time we have a down year, the entire league is down. When we are up they are all up! Lol

I’m sure this isn’t 100% true. Just seems that way

No need to draft a QB. We should be able to trade for Wentz on the cheap.

Ideally, in that scenario, we can trade down some and still get Farley. Someone will want to jump up and draft Fields.
Some interesting calls by Bruger, but I put alot of worth in his opinion. He seems very high on some of the CB's. Farley and Surtain in the top 5. Highest I have seen Kendrick. What is interesting though is that he only has 4 in the first

All I want is another corner like Diggs who turns and plays the ball. I’m so sick of Awuzie, Brown and Lewis

Think about it.
If you get Surtain his buddy Diggs is already here.
This makes the transition to the NFL better wouldn't you say?

Thats what I'm looking at.
Parsons is a good add aswell.
Wonder if he can play Safety aswell as LB?

But Dallas has wasted time and money on the CB postion.
ANTHONY BROWN was a horrible waste of money.
This was a panic move.
Lewis is a splash or nothing player and he has done the later more often. He gotta go.
Awuzie, well along as the play is in front of him. He is great. Its when the play goes past him he is in trouble. Which makes FS a hot spot for him.
With Diggs he just needs to be there the injury set him back he was doing great before that. Had a struggle for few games, but chaulk that up learning Curve.

Lbs Lee has to go.
LvE is fine and Jaylon is playing better and almost nearly not cutable or tradable.

We need 1 LB and 2 CBS.
You have to look at the Draft and think really hard which one will be harder to fill?
We obviously know DT will be after the 2ND round. Which is fine.
DE there is only one blue chipper but and I say But if you resign Aldon Smith what is the point in drafting the Miami kid?

You can go get Chase WR from LSU sure.
But you damn near have to trade Cooper or Gallup ASAP. And you better get a 1st.

Sewell is gone thats a rap. Bengals are his future.
We don't need a QB. Sorry dak haters not gonna happen.
So whats left?
A OG that late 1st and early 2nd round but it would only be worth it if you trade back. Cuz the pressing needs are higher then OG.

My thoughts are simple trade back gain a 2nd and 3rd rounder.

Draft Surtain Bama, Williams OK state and Brown Bama
Thats your first three picks.
The Hamilcar LB after that you start to figure out your DT and Depth

Awuzie will never be a safety. And surtain knowing Diggs doesnt mean anything really.

The transition to the NFL is hard than it seems. I would want to go some where that I atleast know someone.
It means alot. Someone to help explain things and make them feel more comfortable.
Makes loads of since
