Are we still mathematically alive or season done?

Mathematically we are still in it, even for a WC, the 7th spot. Realistically, we are done.

The bad part is, we can win 3 or 4 more games without winning the division and go from pick #3 to pick #16 pretty quick. However those 3 or 4 wins can still win the division.

The reason we are in this mess is because the players we did have didn't get coached or developed. We wasted years on Chido, Lewis and Brown not developing them and having them play schemes that don't fit their strengths.

More reason NOT to stick up for the past regime. Like I pointed out in another post.............put Jaylon Ramsey in for Zeke, TJ Watt in for Taco and Rapp the Rams safety in for Hill and your looking at a much much better defense already. All those players were on the board when we picked and were beyond obvious choices.

Hill was 100% a Merinelli reach, Taco was 100% a Merinelli reach and Watt "not being right for his scheme', and then Garrett wanting offense over a shut down corner.

Especially with Martin out. I don't think we can win another game without Martin. Maybe against Philly cuz they are sucking just as much as us. No way we're making the playoffs.

He's not right. We can sit here and talk about how bad this guy is or that guy but if that guy is cut I guarantee you someone picks them up. They screwed up royally on TJ Watt but I have zero faith TJ Watt is the player here that he is in Pittsburgh. This team does not put its players in position to succeed.

It is pathetic. But its what has been going on. You can't scream that the coaches suck and then in the same sentence say players would be coached up here...unless you think Ramsey and TJ Watt would be as good as they are despite coaching. Though I will say I wouldn't want Ramsey or Zeke honestly......

Nope, wrong as usual. I blame EVERYONE including Jerry. Are you saying you have never heard me hammer Jerry for hiring a loser like Garrett and keeping him around for 15 years?

The difference between us is that you lay little to no blame whatsoever on Garrett, your hero. Just yesterday you were talking about how you missed him and absolving him from blame based on this years results.

Ironically, one of your big excuses was that Garrett simply didnt have the talent here to do a proper job. Yet in a year where whatever talent we have has been destroyed by injuries, not a peep about lack of talent for the new regime?

Jaylen Ramsey has one more pick than Byron Jones does lol.

And its not about being "stars". Its about finding starters. Woods and Awuzie can play in this league. Cowboys didn't just get them undrafted...those were guys with high draft grades on them. If the Cowboys didn't pick them someone else would've. Just because they play for the Cowboys doesn't mean they were bad.

Wouldn't bet on it, they lose tonight and they're 2 games back and have been swept by WAS. They do have the more favorable schedule. Last game of the season might be nothing more than playing spoiler for the Giants but I don't see that kind of division hate in this team.

Candidly, the way this team is playing, better to get eliminated and not have these last games matter. At least NY and WAS's D's give them a chance to win a playoff game. DAL's give them a chance for a better draft pick.

If i buy a lottery ticket, i am mathematically alive to win and become filthy, filthy rich. So at this point, they still may be....but i wouldn't put too much into that. They are playing like they tore up that ticket already and are looking to scrape up enough to buy another one next year.
