What to do with Tyron Smith? Do we look for a replacement in free agency or do we draft one? His time may have ran out in the NFL as he has been unavailable and oft injured the last few years.

We have the worst defense in the NFL. We dont have any cap space. We need to sign Dak. We dont have the luxury of replacing Tyron.

If Sewell is there, he’s the obvious choice. Plug him at LG and if Smith is hurt, you move him to LT.

But with Tyrons contract, he’s going to be the LT for several more years.

No need to create offensive holes. Resign Dak and focus completely on defense

Sewell gives us some nastiness and juice in the trenches..and position flex. AGREE

I see no reason to think about cutting him next year. Cap hit is reasonable if he can play most of the games next year.
We've seen more competent play from Knight and Irving(if re-signed) to lean on them for a game or so.

I like Sewell too and would take him if he fell to us*.

But think Smith should stay regardless.

*depending on how offseason goes

he plays another year, after that LC is the new LT and rt is ont he roster or easier to find..no elephant needed its obvious. He will make one more run at it..

play him inside...with a healthy Tyron...La'el and Zack with Biadasz at C...thats an awesome looking oline.
if Tyron has a sudden retirement...or if La'el's hip is career threatening...Sewell takes that spot.

if Sewell is off the board...i draft Parsons and take a guy like Tommy Doyle of Miami,Oh...or Iowa's Alaric Jackson later and let them groom behind the HOF'R.
