If Dak was still playing would we be 3-9?

Dak would be worth a couple more wins against East teams but Peyton Manning in his prime wouldn't succeed with this defense and an o line that's down to 3rd/4th string on the tackles.

It's clear is it?

I saw an offense that struggled to do anything in most of those games until we were getting hammered.

I thought that was pretty clear.
DURRRRR DA RESULTS WOULD BE SIMILAR!!!
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

You’ve been tarred, feathered and thoroughly exposed. Adorable how you keep trying to save face.

The team results with Dalton have been similar..

Do you actually deny that?

Dak loses in a much prettier way.. I admit that..

But as far as the bottom line end results wins and losses I think the results are similar.. Dak might be a game better than Dalton right now..

Feel free to prove me wrong.

What you saw was Dak and the offense breaking all time NFL records and you are now scrambling to deal with that. LOL

The ONLY thing that slows down Dak is Zeke.

You’re a clown.

You agreed with Colin Cowherd when he said that Dalton was on the same level as Dak before Dalton had started a game. You even started that thread.

Now that the results have SLAPPED you in the face, you’re backtracking.

Dak started 5 games this year. He led the Cowboys to 150 points in those games. The Cowboys allowed 169.

Dalton has started 5 games this year. He led the Cowboys to 77 points while the defense has allowed 166.

There is ZERO comparison between the players. Dak kept us in every single game, even with the NFL’s worst defense and an awful O-line.

Meanwhile, we’ve been blown out in EVERY SINGLE Dalton game minus the win at Minnesota.

Learn football, child.

...nope, I honestly think Dak would have us at least 7-5. There were a few games the defense played well to win them. Of course with Dak at the helm. Dalton is just a leg worth all of Dak.

But I suppose whatever was not right with the team, would eventually get exposed.

..thoughts? ..
7-5. We beat Pittsburgh, Arizona, split with the Football Team and beat the Eagles. I think we could have beaten the Ravens last night as well.

Prescott would most likely have been injured by now because that OL was disintegrating and if not in that Giants game, another soon after he would have been injured. That also has a lot to do with his style of play, Newton is the only QB more physical in his style of play than Prescott. If he's close to the marker, he's not sliding.

I think you have to look back on just what he was doing those first 4 games of the season. He was on a record pace, driving his team north of 35 ppg and 1-3. How in the hell does any team build a defense that bad?

Being a NFL QB is a pressure gig to begin with but when you add that pressure of a horrible defense they make the QB take too many risks. We saw the very same thing with Romo but these incompetents just don't learn from their mistakes.

It is unlikely the Cowboys will be able to tag him at 37M with the cap and if I was him I'd tell Booger to shove his team up his butt and get on the market before this draft. There are quite a few GMs that would look at what he was doing with this offense and be interested in his services. He is one of the few players that can say he was doing his job.

I’m so tired of having to explain my opinion to you guys all the time.

Dalton has an entire career of being like Dak.. I’m not just pulling it out of thin air.. He’s been a solid player for the Bengals.

I think Dalton is below average to average..

I think Dak is better than he is.

I think neither guy is capable of carrying a team to victory and rather they get carried by the team.

I think in similar situations both guys are going to get you to about the same place..

Dak was a 1-3 QB that was a watermelon kick from 0-4.. I have no doubt Dalton could get us similar results..

Now what is it that you don’t get?

Did I think Dalton would be a little better than he is? Sure.. But still.. Dak was a 8-8 QB last year and a 1-3 QB this year.

Andy Dalton has taken the crappy Bengals to 5 consecutive playoff appearances before.

So yes.. I have no doubt that Dalton can get Dallas to the same place Dak usually does..

Let me repeat this for you.. Please comprehend it.. I think Dak is better.

Dallas was a fluke onside kick from having no wins with Dak. Its not like Dallas was playing well with him. IMO, there would be 1 or 2 more wins and the blowouts would have been closer.

I hate that people throw around "first place." That's Jerry speak trying to sell the team as something that it isn't. First place in the NFC East is the NFL's booby prize. You get to drop way back in the draft and then get your face smashed in by a better team in the playoffs. 6-6 gets you first place in only one division and 3rd place in most.

LOL we know what your “current“ opinion is.

You amended it. Because the results SLAPPED you in the face and you’re not man enough to admit you were wrong.

On what planet is 77 points through 5 games “similar” to 150 points through 5 games? Were you inbred?

Listen.. I explained to you my reasoning.. Dalton having a whole career of doing exactly what I said..

Ive given you that Dak is better because I’ve always said that..

Ive given you that Dak loses in a much prettier way.. He gives you a loss you can be proud of..

Now it’s your turn to say CATCH, Dak and Dalton are winning games at about the same rate and getting.. wait for it.. similar team results.

Also, let me post this for you so you can understand why guys like myself and Hall Of Fame coach Jimmy Johnson thought Dalton could get Dak like results. Jimmy and I weren’t just pulling it out of thin air and .

Dalton is one of ten quarterbacks in NFL history to have thrown for over 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons and one of only six to throw at least 20 touchdowns over the same span. Dalton is the only quarterback to lead the Bengals to five consecutive playoff berths, and one of five quarterbacks to lead his team to the playoffs in each of his first five seasons. He is also the Bengals franchise record holder for passing yards in a season, passing touchdowns in a season, and career passing touchdowns.[5]

What one injured player, were he not injured, would result in the biggest improvement in the team's record? Dak as QB is the obvious choice, but I wonder if the miserable defense could be much closer to passable with one of those DTs or secondary casualties back.

“DURRRRRRR LeBron and Shaq on the same team in Cleveland??? They don’t need LeBron, Shaq will get them similar results!! Need proof?? Look at what Shaq did earlier in his career in Orlando and LA!!”

Quit while you’re woefully behind.

What the **** does Dalton’s early success have to do with him now?

Didn’t the Bengals just get the #1 pick due in part to his pathetic play and send him packing?????

He’s been complete garbage as a starter for years. Of course a know-nothing like you expected something impressive out of him. Oops! You were very, very wrong.

What is the point of this thread? Dak got injured in Week 5 and is out for the season so why another "Dak Love Oh My God I Miss Him So Much As He Is The Bestest of THe Bestest Ever" thread? Get over it Dak lovers.....
