Sure, but everyone is biased in one way or another. Ron was a RB himself, college level I think, and so he favors the position. What Zeke really has is that rare ability to turn something into nothing. He never was that long HR threat that people are begging for, though he'll assuredly break one now and then.

RB's who hit the hole quickly always make your OL better. Barkley is more of a dancer. Dancers are always harder to block for. That is what Ron really means, and he's right. Plus, the grinders are always more conducive to winning super bowls.

YPC tells a person almost nothing about the RB, on that we agree!!!!!!

FB’s are grinders and get tough yards too! Most at a fraction of the price, we could have called CJ Anderson and got the same production, IMOF zeke could have taken notes based on how he schooled him in the Rams playoff game.

On a side note, Cincy has allowed the 4th most rushing yards in the league. This will be the worst run defense we’ve faced by a decent amount, zeke should have his best day this year. Ain’t that right @rocyaice?

If he applied it universally then that would be one thing but when he selectively applies it to just zeke and not other RB’s that is biased. He also goes off the rails when he doesn’t have legitimate answers (ie Barkey made the Giants almost last ranked O line look worse then then they really were; Gallman and Moore have a higher YPC average than Barkley so they are better than Barkley but that doesn’t apply to Pollard or when Moore had a higher YPC than zeke during the suspension; the Cowboys O line was never mentioned as being the reason for zeke’s past success but now it’s a legitimate excuse; no other RB’s got the O line excuse when zeke was doing well but now he gets it; it goes on and on) Too much for me to waste my time filtering out.

See how I appropriately used the word biased and gave examples @rocyaice? I’m still waiting for you to give me examples of how the stats and articles I’ve posted are biased just because I think zeke is scum.

You are correct sir.. I do not care. And there was nothing veiled about my comments and I stand by them. I don't see the world in black and white.. I understand better than most that there are degrees of everything. My pointing this discrepancy out was meant more to perhaps elicit thought and introspection than baiting. You’re “intellect” deserves to be attacked when you accuse others with words you have no understanding of and can’t provide examples of.

You may not have meant it like that...but it is a comparison. I will try to simplify it for you:

Amari play good zeke play bad.

The problem is early in the game he's getting 2-3 yards at most. That is not sustainable. We were unstoppable even though they knew we were running on 1st down. We can no longer afford to let zeke take us 3 and out all game just to get to the 4th quarter when their defense is tired. It would be dumb not to use a strength of our offense with these wr's, we need the 1st downs too bad to run zeke for 2-3 yards a clip constantly. We are more effective passing the ball early than running and 1st downs wear out a defense more than any RB. But like i said earlier, if Zeke would stop running into DT's and look for space then we would be much more effective running early in the game which gives us 1st downs, TOP, keeps this lousy defense off the field etc.

When teams focus on stopping Zeke early, he won't get the big carries unless the line is really good. But even the 2-3 yard carries are part of wearing down the defense. Really the problem isn't Zeke getting the short runs early, it's that the defense has been such a sieve the other team's first couple or three drives result in points so that the offense feels it has to get away from Zeke very quickly. If the defense can get a couple of 3 and outs or at least keep the other team from scoring tds, Zeke can continue to pound the ball, and it will eventually pay dividends.

But they haven't been able to do that much this year...

as does any back..caught few Henry highlights yesterday those were 4 lane highway at 2am lanes opened up and they plan to run the ball all game and scheme for it you know like 206-2018 before Kellen Moore type scheming. They have the line and the identity to run and make sure they do it no matter the YOC until it opens up..zekes never going to be 2016 zeke the DC OL or TEAM isnt 2016 DC team at all, of course its different. However zeke could get some help from the OC and OL to be 2019 zeke or better..

its obvious this year hes battling nagging leg injuries' plus horrible OL and No pass game threat. Yesterday i watched so many 7-9 man boxes and sorry but our OL maybe able to open some holes when the defense is playing a normal defensive alignment but they cant do it when they are overmatched. Its our 3rd string OL and teams are not scared of dalton and will do this the rest of the year

i mean zeke shows some old zeke 5.2 YPC for 3 qtrs against Ravens ran well in MN etc etc

so lets revisit this md season next year with dak and our starting OL which BTW still is nowhere close to 2016 , do fans not get that the OL even our starters are 70% of what that OL was back in 2016..

Healthier TS-better LG Leary- Tfred at his peak-Martin -LC -who was the weak link as was free and now is stronger this line was top 2 in NFL at the time..

2019-2020 not even close , no debate needed.. give zeke at least the starters and hes very good..stop the hate already..

the fumbles irritate me for sure but i can see zekes effected by the OL decline and this year all the above..

Cooper is a fine player who has a very manageable and team friendly contract.

Elliott is a good running back, not a great one, who is overpaid and his contract is a cap issue. He plays a position that many teams have shown you don't need to waste high picks or a ton of money to get production out of that position in today's NFL.

It's just that simple.
