the purview of talent evaluation should belong to the coach and scouting department. the signing of the players should be the job of the gm/bean counter.

It is a very simple principle, you do not pay elite money for a good player period. Doesn't matter where he plays or what position. TEAM building 101 tells you this and until you grasp that simple concept you will never understand how a championship team is built. Proof, Jerry builds a team your way, Craft builds a team my way, I will take my way. QB's get paid for results, Play off wins, SB appearances or Elite traits, We have not seen that type of QB for 25 years. Keep being a player fan it is what Jerry and losers do, I bet you are a tank for a OL guy to protect that good QB who isn't leading the team anywhere with out a high end defense, it is very simple sorry you have such a hard time understanding it.

100% disagree 2015 was far worse because mostly just one player ie ROMO injurys tanked the entire season..that was horrible coaching to only win four games with just missing your QB , now no one would think they should win but 7-8 games for sure..

this year 2/3 of our starter have been pout at one point or another and some of their backups also got hurt plus Dak you cant expect a new staff with that sort of handicap to win anything. Period..

thats the issue around here the personal expectations that somehow blind those of true valid reasons for epic amounts of losses..no one , if they had starter the year with the roster we have had most of this year say of it were our actual starters , would have even picked this team to go 4-12 period..we are playing with JV roster a made up of a lot of Practice squad players, some whom would never made this roster , EVER let alone start..

these arent excuses a record number of injuries to new staff no offseason to implement schemes and evaluate personal etc

i more upset at 2019 and how we choked the back end of that season away finishing 8-8 with nearly a full roster..that put the nail in the coffin for garett, finally , even jerry saw how bad they payed the last half of the season for no reason..thats blown potential,

2020 is obvious to why it was lost 5 games in..and the injuries doubled since then,,
