Andy Dalton seems to be on a good streak this Kellen gun offense and 3 game win streak ,, seem like he's gain great confidence and rhythm en route to big plays in pass game

this could make him look more attractive in the FA market .. teams like the Pats, ..or Washington that could have really used him

His age (33 yrs) will be something going against him long term. but i could see Pats signing him as a stopgap starter until a a grooming young buck draftee is ready to take the wheels

He's like a Ryan Fitzpatrick

:D

he can read a defense unlike the other guy and knows he has to get the ball out fast because of the weak offensive line. Being able to read the defense is what we've been missing with the other guy. When the offensive line was missing one guy, read that again, one guy, everybody blamed the offensive line. Let that slow reader play behind this line and he would have been in shell shock again like a few year back against Atlanta.

Some team that either wants a veteran for their new rookie or couldn't land one of them is going to pay him at least solid stater money I'd imagine.

Possibly us if we can't lock Dak up or don't want to I guess.

He had a great game today, no question. It it was his first great game this season, and not at all outside what we have seen Dak do. But, when you have an agenda one game is all you need to latch onto, right?

Sad. But true.

I think Dalton has enough talent to be a starter, Dallas fans will obviously be hard on a guy like him but it takes some time to have a job for 10 years then get thrown into another place and expect to "know it all". I'm good at my job but I've been there 10 years, I know the ins and outs of my workplace. If i got thrown into a new place, no matter how much I know, there are things I "wouldn't" know. So I feel for Dalton there.

With that said, he's had a few weeks to get comfortable, he has weapons he's never had and he's taking advantage of it. You'd have to be an idiot to see that he isn't improving. Good for him.

What a typical hot take. We beat a bad Philthy team with a defense that’s ranked 5 spots worse THAN US against the pass and people are crowning Dalton.

I’m not sure. Looks like we may have 5 first round qbs drafted. Gardner menshew likely available, tyrod Taylor, Winston, trubisky, fitzmagic, brissett all set to be free agents. Not sure how many qb openings we see this year but there will be a ton of competition
