Exactly, Our QB put up 35 and blame him, lol. Dak average almost 400 yards a game passing and Dalton average what low 2 something. But Dalton is better, lol. Dak had to score every possession or else we getting blown out.
and... wait on it.... still lost

Overall the league is bereft of talent at the QB position; Dalton could be a starter somewhere next year, but it’s not guaranteed. I wouldn’t complain if we retained him.

Think about how many QBs there are in the NFL.
And how many of them are actually GOOD.

how did he play himself into a starter contract? he struggled badly, getting blown out against Ravens, AZ, WFT not being able to muster any kind of offense.

he struggled against Cinci, if not for defense scoring, and getting three turnovers in the game. he couldn't muster consistent drives....against a then 2-10 team....

He struggled against SF, if again, not for 3 defensive turnovers handing him the ball at their end of the field......if any team was more injured than cowboys it was SF...

coaches, GMs aren't blind, they don't look at final stats, or wins/losses. They watch the tape and the tape was ugly.....

Dalton at best will get another back up contract, perhaps his last one in the league...
