Can you believe he's 28 already? I mean I know in "football years" he's probably closer to like 25 due to being away from the game for a while, but still. Can't believe it's been 5 years already since we drafted him.

Best game of his career. I saw greatness from him during MULTIPLE series at points where the defense needed a big stop/play.

I think of there is one player in this league who owes their team a discount contract when the time comes it would be him after how long Jerry has stuck with him. *Shrug*
that's because it cost nothing to stick with him. players are not paid while on suspension. though i suppose the constant embarrassment we had to put up with is worth something.

Secondary is fine at Cb-need DT and LB

You would go with Awuzie long term? I'm fine bringing him back for one year to give a draft pick time to develop (and likely start by midseason like Awuzie himself did) but I don't see banking on the guy.

 Why not? The NFL hasn't banned weed smoking. They only loosen the penalty ...... so it's still an issue (IMO).
Oh wow, thought they stopped testing for it.
They still test for it but not only is the trigger percentage raised but you cannot miss games/be suspended due to a positive test. You can only be fined.

So yeah I’m not worried about Gregory not being able to be on the field. It’s up to him if he wants to lighten his pockets with positive tests, but it won’t affect his ability to get on the field.

Yeah I would go with him with a good D line.He is good enough. He is not a shut down guy but you can’t pay everybody at every position

Agree he is "good enough" but I want to upgrade that spot. I really think Diggs is a playmaking #1 next year so the opposite corner will be the guy teams target next year.

They finally went to the NBA rules, where you don't flunk the whiz quiz unless you physically stuff marijuana into the test tube yourself.

Whatever a fan's personal opinion is, Cannabis is legal for recreational or medical use in 42 out of 50 States. I don't use it and don't want my kids doing it either, but in California its been legal for medical use for 25 years and you could get a medical permit by claiming you had "stress".

Yeah the rule changes show the NFL really doesn’t care about what you do as long as public opinion is on their side. I sincerely believe they wouldn’t have any personal conduct guidelines if the public didn’t care.

That’s very true
They are trying to protect the image of the league
But I think because the league is old guys they don’t recognize that public view of weed has changed significantly
They could simply stop testing for weed and the public wouldn’t care. If you get busted for weed then suspend players, otherwise who cares if a guy smokes weed.
